There's a wild fire in his eyes.
Maybe Pac's still got it, maybe it's gone but this sure is going to be one hell of a fight either way.
Props to Pac for not ducking, and taking the best fight available. That quality alone ranks him far higher than Mayweather. I don't know how you can add someone to an ATG list who's ducked so many people lol. That's like an incomplete record.
Could we call the Miami heat the champions if they ducked the Pacers and the Spurs year after year and took seasons off when the league was at it's most competitive?
Floyd is a walking contradiction, but It's rare/funny to see people constantly *****ing about his legacy when he has admittedly said he doesn't care about his legacy. Stop beating a dead horse and move on. Pacquiao will be the greater fighter on the ATG list when it's all been said and done, but for whatever reason, some people aren't okay with that and will constantly find a reason to trash the inferior fighter.
I'm not a fan of Amir Khan and Adrien Broner, and I'll be the first to say that i couldn't care less about them, nor would i try to hold them to some standard where they have to constantly prove themselves to me. I just don't care about them as fighters or in Broner's as both a person and fighter.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 03-25-2014, 07:23 PM.

The only thing Bradley did better in the first fight was throw (not land) more jabs. That seemed to be enough to bamboozle the judges into thinking he was winning rounds.
However that was two years ago and Bradley is probably slightly better, while Pacquiao is slightly worse. Close fight in my view that Pacquiao just edges.

And by people, do you mean guys like Margarito, Paul Williams, etc? Yeah, I'm sure fighting/beating those guys would've skyrocked Floyd up all the way to the top 10 ATG list. Beating Pacquiao would just move Floyd up a bit on the list, but it's not a win that would elevate his legacy as an ATG where he'd want it to be.

It's always going to be argued but if Floyd retires undefeated and the #1 P4P fighter in the world while Pacquaio is beneath then a lot of people will consider him greater.
A lot of people will consider him greater anyway, a lot of people won't aswell.

I think this will be a close fight, Bradley getting stunned or even hurt a couple times but still winning rounds against Manny, it will be a close, maybe split decision for Manny while this time most people will score it for Bradley but Manny getting the judge's decision.

Floyd already holds the Lineage and even if he didn't Bradley's ranked #2 and Pacuaio is ranked #4 so it wouldn't be regardless.
Current lineal champs:
HW: Wladimir Klitschko
LHW: Adonis Stevenson
SMW: Andre Ward
MW: Sergio Martinez
JMW: Floyd Mayweather
JWW: Danny Garcia
JFW: Guillermo Rigondeaux
FLY: Akira Yaegashi
Why can't Lineal Champions be stripped of their status in the boardroom so to speak if:
a) ducks - stevenson not fighting hopkins or kovalev this year. "stay-busy" fights to be looked upon as ones failure to uphold credibility of lineal status.if sergio martinez avoids ggg. mayweather not fighting lara and fighting at 147 instead of 154 where he holds the Lineal Champion status. mayweather should relinquish lineal status at JMW. Bradley vs Pacquaio should be for the Welterweight Lineal Title since Mayweather refuses to do business with their promoter. Bradley vs Marquez was for the lineal title. Lineage resumes from that fight.
b) robberies - garcia getting gift vs herrera
c) inactivity - if ward's promotional issues continue, if rigo is completely blackballed preventing him to secure fights vs legitimate challengers

I'm too lazy to read through the entire thread. I'm sure somebody already posted what what I'm going to predict and definitely will happen:
116-112, 116-112, 115-113. Pacquiao
I NEVER root against Bradley, but if Pacquiao beating Bradley means setting up a fifth Pacquiao-Marquez, then I'm all for it.
I'm not worried about Alvarado. Márquez even at his age should have enough to weather ANYTHING Alvarado throws at him.
Bradley-Márquez 2 just doesn't...ugh. All the best to all four, but I hope we don't have to see Bradley-Márquez 2.
