Marquez had just moved up from 130 the year before and is supposed to fight floyd at 144 yet floyd comes in at 146. Remember that marquez had just moved up to 135 and never fought at 140 nor 147.
When broner came in a few pounds over a few fights ago compared to his opponent, he was brutally criticized. Floyd deserves way way worse!

I can't believe that you can even bring that up.
Manny fought him at welterweight too!!!! Manny's rival is Floyd's cherry pick.

Nice post, Floyd has four fights remaining on his contract from what I understand. Unfortunatley what you and almost every other boxing fan on the planet want to see Isn't likely to happen.

Earlier this week, Arum said he wasn't planning on Mayweather being available for a late-spring bout, and was going to discuss possible fights against Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Lamont Peterson or Miguel Cotto with Pacquiao.

        Now the discussion has changed.

"May 5 is out for us, it can't happen, because we want to explore the idea of getting a [temporary] stadium/arena up on the streets of Las Vegas that can seat 40,000," Arum said. "The end of May is a possibility."

Arum said he's intent to explore the idea of the larger outdoor venue because "having the fight in a 40,000-seat arena rather than a 16,000-seat arena seems like a no-brainer."

Additionally, Arum said Pacquiao is still healing from a deep cut over one of his eyes that he sustained in the Marquez fight.

"I don't know that he's on schedule to start sparring until the beginning of April," Arum said. "That's one of the things we'll discuss. If it is early April, we'll have to have the fight in late May."

          2) Manny just lost badly and should be given a tune-up

          Cotto at 154 beat:
          - a guy with a limp
          - a guy who was all bark and no bite in Mayorga
          - one eyed Margarito
          - Lost the more competitive fights

          Guerrero at 147:
Floyd said it best "Who is Guerrero? Who has he beat? I'm no Berto"

Canelo at a CW not 154
"We are fully aware of Canelo's weaknesses. We hope he moves because he tires easily ..... we took advantage of them by taking the CW" Ellerbe

Bradley and Marquez are top P4P fighters. Can't go wrong with them but I could have questioned Bradley even though most thought that he would give Manny a lot of trouble.
          - Marquez always gives Manny trouble and vice-versa!

Recent interviews stated that Gamboa was mentioned for showcase only and not real! They also said recently that they were not interested in Guerrero for Manny
Nice try, but Floyd's last 3 were better than Manny's last 3! Bradley and Marquez are very good jr. welterweights, but not very good welterweights! Guerrero was a tough lefty! Has Manny fought any lefties this decade? Koncz is the one who brought up Gamboa and Guerrero so if it was BS, it was BS from Manny's camp...again!

            Dunno, I know ******s can't cook but I thought I'd pass along a recipe I found at mother****ingidiots.org

            Salty Numb Nuts

            Ingredients

1 impotent ******ed Filipino Congressman (Can substitute with a Large Luzon Forest Rat or a Cloud Rat)
            1 corrupt but shrewd promoter
            The Philippines
5 to 6 six years of lethargic acknowledgement of a career
            1 fat ass best friend
1 idiotic fan base (preferably drooling or wearing ****ty underwear)
2 Tax audits (salted with a tax lien)
            1 tub of brine
3 cups of dog**** (wet, more or less to taste)
            5 cups of horse****
            6 ****roaches
1 Ariza ****tail (the special blend)

            Instructions:

So what I do is I soak the Congressman in brine for three days, then I pat dry and introduce him to a corrupt promoter. I throw in the dog****, horse****, a fat ass best friend, 6 ****roaches and let simmer a few months. I then lift the lid and add the Philippines, Ariza shake, both tax audits (time this right and stir the lethargy in very slowly) and finally an idiotic fan base. I let the whole kettle of **** cook for several years or until done.

            Notes:

For the Congressman they suggest he be completely ******. I usually cook mine for five years or so and refrigerate. It will still taste great if you are not able to do this. Enjoy!

we are both talking about 2012. yes you are right in your statement that arum got so many alibis. im also right that pacquiao sent koncz to mayweathers gym after arum releases those many statements to say that arum is out of the negotiation. pacquaio also releases "arum is out of the negotiation" publicly. pacquiao's response is due to floyd calling him out publicly. but calling out a person publicly and if that person sent an emissary to your house and then you dont want to talk business. then it is floyds fault.

By the time Manny fought Marquez at 147, Marquez had already fought Floyd at 146, Manny at 143 and another fight at 140 plus several more at 135 compared to when Floyd fought Marquez. This makes a big difference.

Marquez had something to base it on once he trained for Manny. So it was just about adjusting for the weight because style wise, we already knew that these two are meant for each other.

If you can't see all that, can't help you bud!

Sorry but even many Floyd fans want to see Floyd vs Manny or Bradley. As for Marquez vs Manny there is nothing that Floyd has in his resume that can compare to that rivalry ..... NOTHING!!! If there would have been a #5 fight, it would have done well and would have been a much anticipated fight. Number 4 was considered a FOTY fight by many.
