Blood Testing: "Arum: The Fight's Off" Dan Rafael ESPN January 7, 2010

Quote: "Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want any blood testing but had agreed to take three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week; one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight; and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would have been subject to the same testing procedures."

Quote: " Said Koncz: "We agreed to move the drug testing to 24 days under the supervision of the Nevada commission and Mayweather still wouldn't budge. So now what we've done is give up maybe $40 million to take a stand for Manny's principles."

Cuts: "Blame Bob Arum for No Pac-Floyd Fight" Dan Rafael ESN January7, 2012

Quote: "Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested. He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May. Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune."

Quote: "We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone. I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?
A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope." Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely. "My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys," Arum said. "If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

Quote: "But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment. Arum doesn't want to match his cash cow, Pacquiao, with somebody he doesn't control, and he has no control over Mayweather. He once did, but that was years ago, before their nasty breakup."

Are you referring to the same Guerrero that Floyd fought and Showtime lost money on, granted they did make up for It with the Canelo fight. Why was It ok when Floyd followed through with the Guerrero fight yet you slander Pacquiao over a RUMORED fight with Guerrero?

The correct term is "Pacolytes." As they are far more brainwashed and ****** than mere mindless devotees.....
Are you referring to yourself in the third person like Floyd. Must be your meds kicking in. Take it easy slip you might not get back to reality if you keep on riding someone's divk heheh!

            - Judah - still had the IBF belt; Baldomir priced himself out
            - Baldomir- WBC champion
            - Marquez at 147- the same Marquez who dropped Pac; P4P #2
            - Hatton at 147- won 147 wba title previously against Collazo, Undisputed 140 champ (those guys always challenge the 147 kingpins at some point.)
            - Ortiz was knocked down twice in his only fight at 147 against WBC CHAMPION BERTO!!- drew with LAMONT PETERSON and quit at 140 against Maidana YEARS EARLIER!! (are you saying Manny's Cotto win is garbage? Cotto was dominated just a year before the Manny fight.)
Guerrero- Interim WBC Champion; #1 contender
I see. Belts mean something when it's not Pacquiao that has them.

There's only one way to find out. Why don't you ask your boy Floyd to call it. Then the whole world will know if it's real.

honestly after how Pacquiao looked the last 2 years why would you want to see this fight so bad?

hilarious offer. first if you wanna prove that you dont need the money, why ask Mayweather to fight for free. second is arum donating his money? Mayweather said he wont work with Arum so is pac proposing Arum donate his share. also in america when you donate money that is known as a tax right off. so in affect Pac will still get a large chunk of money. Mayweather should flat out respond by telling Pac ill fight you in 2015 without Arum's involvement, a 60-30 split and you can do whatever you want with your 30%, however if you resign with top rank i will not fight you. end of all this drama.

the first article had come out within the first week of negotiation. suceeding article has shown that pacquiao has agreed to random blood testing cut off in 3 weeks- then 2 weeks.

in the second article. pacquiao also releases an statement saying that arum is out of the negotiation. he even sent koncz to mayweather's gym to discuss the fight. but floyd is not interested to talk about boxing at that time because he is expecting to go to jail. (i can link it to articles if requested just look at my avatar for now)
