Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would have been subject to the same testing procedures."

Quote: " Said Koncz: "We agreed to move the drug testing to 24 days under the supervision of the Nevada commission and Mayweather still wouldn't budge. So now what we've done is give up maybe $40 million to take a stand for Manny's principles."

Cuts: "Blame Bob Arum for No Pac-Floyd Fight" Dan Rafael ESN January7, 2012

Quote: "Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested. He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May. Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune."

Quote: "We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone. I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?
A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope." Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely. "My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys," Arum said. "If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

Quote: "But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment. Arum doesn't want to match his cash cow, Pacquiao, with somebody he doesn't control, and he has no control over Mayweather. He once did, but that was years ago, before their nasty breakup."

YEAH its All BOB ARUM's fault. LETS ALL SEE THE FIGHT OF CENTURY. KHAN vs MAYNEVER that will BREAK all PAY PER VIEW records and the BIGGEST PAYDAY FOR FLOYD! COWARD

Koncz was just talking about GAMBOA and GUERRERO for Manny last week! Are you serious?
Not fair to put Rios in this for several reasons.
        1) His #1 & #2 choices all said no to Manny
        2) Manny just lost badly and should be given a tune-up

        Cotto at 154 beat:
        - a guy with a limp
        - a guy who was all bark and no bite in Mayorga
        - one eyed Margarito
        - Lost the more competitive fights

        Guerrero at 147:
Floyd said it best "Who is Guerrero? Who has he beat? I'm no Berto"

Canelo at a CW not 154
"We are fully aware of Canelo's weaknesses. We hope he moves because he tires easily ..... we took advantage of them by taking the CW" Ellerbe

Bradley and Marquez are top P4P fighters. Can't go wrong with them but I could have questioned Bradley even though most thought that he would give Manny a lot of trouble.
        - Marquez always gives Manny trouble and vice-versa!

Recent interviews stated that Gamboa was mentioned for showcase only and not real! They also said recently that they were not interested in Guerrero for Manny

we are now in 2014 and manny publicly challenging floyd for a fight. blood testing is not an issue. the 40 million is not an issue.
we are just waiting for floyd to accept the fight. and floyd latest alibi is so idiotic because boxers fight for money.
"Floyd's latest alibi is so idiotic because boxers fight for money." Can't believe you actually wrote that! MANNY IS ASKING FLOYD TO FIGHT FOR CHARITY right here in this thread! Manny is an idiot! Bob Arum is raping him, and he could've had this fight twice!

Don't act like Mayweather didn't sweep Marquez.

Don't act like that was not the biggest cherry pick (disgrace) of Floyd's resume (so far).

Marquez had just moved up from 130 the year before and is supposed to fight Floyd at 144 yet Floyd comes in at 146. Remember that Marquez had just moved up to 135 and never fought at 140 nor 147.
When Broner came in a few pounds over a few fights ago compared to his opponent, he was brutally criticized. Floyd deserves way way worse!

I can't believe that you can even bring that up.

                  1) They been P4P #1-A & #1-B for quite sometimes (depends who you likes most)
                  2) I feel their style is kinda contrast, they both can give fits to each other, so interesting
                  3) I dont believe & I dont care about triangle theory
                  4) As casual fan, I dont care how they acted outside the ring, I dont care about their problems & differences. I dont care how much money they earned, I dont care how many lost are they or whome they lost to, I dont care who is right or wrong. All I care is to watch them in the same ring FIGHTING.

                    @Bronx2245

again know the time sequence of events.
manny: i want to fight floyd
floyd: i dont want to fight pacquiao because his sole reason for fighting me is money
manny: lets do it for charity then.

the last statement is a manny's reaction to floyds idiotic "i dont want to fight you because you only fight for money"

who cares if arum is raping manny. i dont care if he end up broke like all boxers do. they are earning their money in a competitive sports. they should fight the best or fight those fighters that fans want

in the second article. pacquiao also releases an statement saying that arum is out of the negotiation. he even sent koncz to mayweather's gym to discuss the fight. but floyd is not interested to talk about boxing at that time because he is expecting to go to jail. (i can link it to articles if requested just look at my avatar for now)
You're fuc*ing up the story again. Koncz came after FLOYD CALLED MANNY! What did Bob tell Rafael after Mayweather was not going to jail? Check out the LA Times:

Earlier this week, Arum said he wasn't planning on Mayweather being available for a late-spring bout, and was going to discuss possible fights against Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Lamont Peterson or Miguel Cotto with Pacquiao.

                      Now the discussion has changed.

"May 5 is out for us, it can't happen, because we want to explore the idea of getting a [temporary] stadium/arena up on the streets of Las Vegas that can seat 40,000," Arum said. "The end of May is a possibility."

Arum said he's intent to explore the idea of the larger outdoor venue because "having the fight in a 40,000-seat arena rather than a 16,000-seat arena seems like a no-brainer."

Additionally, Arum said Pacquiao is still healing from a deep cut over one of his eyes that he sustained in the Marquez fight.

"I don't know that he's on schedule to start sparring until the beginning of April," Arum said. "That's one of the things we'll discuss. If it is early April, we'll have to have the fight in late May."
