Cleverly - fake injury, bail on fight
David Haye - fake injury, bail on fight
Amir Khan - afraid of Devon Alexander. prefers to pray for big fights in lieu of earning them
Ricky Burns - gets ass kicked, offers immediate rematch - weasels out of it

Hell even Carl Froch who has carried on his career as if he were the Anti-Brit up until recently is now afraid of some ginger ****.
Difficult to disagree with this. It stinks.

Only uk guys I like significantly both inside and outside the ring atm are Groves, Joshua, perhaps Murray.

Don't mind Khan and Haye but god they are full of sheet.

I'm willing to bet, fight doesn't get rescheduled, he simply pulls out.

His bottle's gone, you could tell that months ago in the wake of the Kovalev fight. This is just delaying the inevitable.

I agree with MD, a bad fight for Clev for his return bout after getting Ko'd.

Burns didn't weasel out of the rematch with Beltran.
Eddie Hearn, his promoter, asked the WBO if the mandatory defence against Crawford could be postponed so that Burns could give Beltran his rematch. But the WBO refused to sanction a rematch with Beltran and informed Burns that if he didn't fight Crawford next he would be stripped of his title.

And they made absolutely zero attempt to pay Crawford to step aside because they knew, quite frankly, that he would get his ass kicked even worse by Beltran. Asking the WBO to delay a defense isn't the only option - but it was the only one they were willing to explore - probably knowing the answer before they asked the question.

At least Crawford will only box his ears off and leave his jaw unbroken.

Good to see I was spot on about all the rest of the Brit jokes though.

I don't even know why I bothered to respond. Two posts from me about Ricky Burns is one more post than I usually allow myself to make in regard to such a bull**** fake champ.

If I was that promoter, I'd be pissed too.

B.J Flores has been trying desperately to get a fight. He event tried to get Golden Gloves to get him a fight.
Call him, he'll gladly take it on less than a month notice

Top Rank wanted Crawford to get the shot. If Burns had fought Beltran, you would be saying he ducked Crawford. Once again you make an utter spastic of yourself
