You obviously didnt' see the fight, nor really have a grasp on Boxing. Go do your homework, and follow up on the who's who of Boxing who were more than clear in assessing Oscar won the fight. Don't even post here again until you know more about what you're talking about.

Alvarez: 23 year old lacking experience who had a war with Austin Trout who nobody had heard of.

Guerrero: His dad taught him on the heels of the street fight he accidently landed with Cotto, get on your bike and stay away. He wouldn't engage Guerrero, and Guerrero was absolutely flat footed.

Cotto: Past his prime, still got Floyd drug out to deep water, but beyond his best years, and didn't have enough to turn the heat up on floyd. (Floyd avoided him for 10 yrs).

Ortiz: Young & ******. Maidana destroyed Ortiz. Ortiz was still roughing up Floyd when floyd took his chances on a break to get out with his life.

Mosley: Avoided Shane for more than 10 yrs in Mosley's prime, and steps in with a 40 year old Mosley, with many wars under his belt, and yet nearly stopped Floyd in 2 rounds; Shane just didn't have enough at 40 yrs old to finish the deal.

Marquez: LOL... Floyd purposely missed making weight for that fight and came in some 20 pounds+ heavier than Marquez on fight night. Marquez stood their flat footed and tried to counter all night. Very strategic on Floyd's part.

The ONE guy he fought in his prime was Oscar dela Hoya, who most that saw that fight felt Oscar won the fight, bust up Floyd's face. hence floyd wanted so little to do with Oscar, he walked away from a $25M rematch offer to fight Oscar again...

Now you want to keep singing the praises for Floyd Junior like he's done something special aside from his manufactured record???? Listen, had Floyd fought and beaten Mosley, Cotto, Pacquaio and Sergio Martinez in their primes, and extended rematches to prove that was no fluke, then he's the man. Because that's how the legends before him did it. Mayweather is all about a paycheck... he's a weasel, and nowhere close to the legendary status of the Hagler's, Leonards, Robinsons, Hearns, Durans, Arguellos.... no where close.
Wow slow 80's clap for you my friend. You broke that sh** down!

It's kind of funny too, that after Margarito destroyed Cotto in their first fight, Floyd Mayweather was nowhere to be found. He wanted nothing to do with Margarito or his title. He stayed away while Pacquiao (25lbs lighter) and Shane Mosley (40 years old) "chose" to go toe to toe with Margarito instead because they each have a set. Once Pac & Mosley did the dirty work destroying Margarito, then Floyd didn't have to consider the fight. That's what Floyd does, he lets those dangerous fighters take too many OTHER wars, hoping they get beaten down or taken out of the picture by someone else. Floyd the Weasel.

I've actually seen the fight and It sounds like like you haven't just answer the question what's rounds did you give Oscar in that fight. And another question is what fight do you give Mayweather credit for. And what one do you give Manny credit for. I'm just wondering

i hate to say this but i believe khan would actually give floyd a better fight. i know maidana has made some improvements but he was so badly outclassed by alexander. i can't see him doing any better vs. floyd. this would most likely be a 12-0 shutout.

Just pretty funny how Mayweather blings his way to this illusion he's done something special, his 17 years in the Boxing "Business" he likes to say in the third person. The business he's made a lot of money, the Boxing side of things, he's ducked and dodged his way just like Roy Jones Jr did, to avoid as much risk as possible. Roy had an agreement with HBO that ONLY he chose his opponents for fights on HBO. That's why he had so many sleepy, over matched opponents, could play a basketball game the day or a fight, could perform a rap concert before getting in the ring. He would never pull that crap fighting Bernard Hopkins, which is why he made Hopkins wait 17 years for a rematch. These guys want to be about the bling, the money, the mansions, the posse, the celebrity, the brutha gangsters... just pretty disgusting Boxing has gone to that. The best rarely fight each other, and each division has four different guys all with a belt around their waist.

I give Floyd credit for his fight back in the day with Zab Judah, who nearly knocked Floyd out, but he weathered the storm and got back out on the end of his jab and boxed himself to a win. That's it. That's when Floyd realized he doesn't like getting hit. Sorry, I recognize you have a man crush on Floyd and he just wants your money, so that will be a hard fall, when you finally come to your senses, Floyd doesn't care about you; he uses you for your money.

Where do I start with credible fights for Pacquiao... lets see, let me look hard here.... Barrera (2 twice), Erik Morales (3 times), Marquez (4 times) all Hall of Famers, in their prime and before Pacquiao's prime. Add in Cotto in his prime, Margarito who was 25 lbs heavier than Pac (Floyd wanted nothing to do with Margarito after he dismantled Cotto), Clottey was much larger and hit much harder than Pacquiao. We won't even count Hatton, Dela hoya or Mosley. Pacquiao has fought EVERYBODY Boxing thru in front of him. He's waited 5 years now for a fight with Floyd, but Floyd has more excuses than hand picked opponents, for not fighting Floyd.

Leonard and Hearns fought each other twice.

Leonard and Hearns fought Duran, Leonard fought Duran twice.

Hearns had an epic 3 round war with Hagler.

Duran had a war with Hagler.

Alexis Arguello went up in weight to stage two back to back wars with Aaron Pryor. Pryor beat up Arguello, Alexis asked for an immediate rematch, and Pryor obliged giving Arguello another defeat.

Dela Hoya had two epic wars with Shane Mosley, losing both, but nonetheless, in both their primes.

Dela Hoya went up to fight Bernard Hopkins in his prime.

Dela Hoya waged war with Felix Trinidad & Ike Quartey.

Dela Hoya fought Hector Camacho & Pernell Whitaker in their prime.

Shane Mosley went way up to fight two Hall of Famers, much larger than him in Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright, both in their prime.

Pacquiao fought Barrera (twice), Erik Morales (three times), and Marquez (four times) all in their prime. Not to mention he had a war with Cotto, Margarito, Clottey all in their prime.

Holyfield fought Rid**** Bowe three times in their prime. Holyfield fought Tyson twice. Ali fought Frazier 3 times, Ken Norton 3 times, George Foreman he knocked out, all in their primes.

Floyd Junior is no where the legendary status as any of these legends mentioned. He's made more money, he's safely stayed in the business a lot of years, but he NEVER took the risk in the ring, that classifies him as a legend or one of the best ever. He has PPV% thru the roof, because most tune in to in hopes some hand picked opponent shocks the world and knocks Floyd out, just like Tarver did to Roy Jones.
I'm glad you quit talking about that "war" Duran had with Hearns.

LOL... Khan is probably the ONLY guy in Boxing Floyd could possible knock out or even knock down!!! When is the last time Floyd had the ballz to exchange and actually knocked somebody out??? Victor Ortiz on a break, stepped back, with his hands at his side, looking directly at the referee, when he took a blind cheap shot and knocked out... ****** on Ortiz. Before that..... who and when, and how long ago was that?!!? Luckily Khan has a very fragile chin.
