if nothing else, it actually puts pressure on those involved i would think
But every one involved says his comments have the opposite affect-that it derails the fight from getting signed. That's why some posters are concluding he is blocking the fight.

Why? Who really knows. Maybe its a control thing. Maybe he doesn't think Manny will win. No one rational can accurately assess irrational actions from an irrational person.

If pacquiao loses, arum still gets his cut. I really don't see that as a reason for him to block the fight.

I still don't know how him jumping the gun is an impediment to this fight though. Kind of asshole-ish? yes.

      Am I missing something here?

Respectfully, you not being able to see it doesn't mean it isn't happening. We may not always agree but you seem rational and bob's actions are anything but. so I can see how you'd miss it.

Everyone we know is involved in negotiations, except Haymon, says him doing this is detrimental. It's bizarre that so many of you steadfastly say otherwise. wouldn't they know?

Not to be disrespectful, but I think you and many others would see this clearer if floyd wasn't involved. I think a lot of you have made up your mind its Floyd and nothing will change that.

WHen Floyd doesn't give Manny exactly what he wants-you and others conclude Floyd doesn't want the fight. If you truly believe that, wouldn't the same apply to Bob-he isn't getting exactly what he wants so he doesn't want fight?

Arum hated Oscar and Pac-Oscar got made. And that's a rival promoter ffs.

I don't think it's Arum that's holding up the fight. It's obviously not Pacquiao since he gave every concessions even though he'll be pulling his own weight in the ppv sales. Floyd at the very least has made it seem that he wants the fight. I don't think none of those people are at fault at this point.

I think it's the networks. They are fighting over every single cent to be made in this fight so it has been dragging on and on... which is pissing me off.

i stopped posting way before pac got ktfo'd though.. so you kind of dropped the ball there, dipshit

Yeah, arum made pac-ODH. so. what about all the fights he let marinate or didn't make? He failed to get cotto v canelo done and he kept releasing the same "close" reports to the media.

Come on man, don't do this to yourself.

wait. so arum is at fault now for cotto-canelo not happening?

Man, that's Canelo's fault. Cotto was obviously waiting if pacquiao-mayweather will fall apart. But no, Canelo's thinks that he is too much of a "star" and is set on the 2nd of May date.

                  Well this is just bs.

I think Floyd did his part of actually talking to pac and making it known that he actually wants the fight. Floyd finally grew a pair after being harassed by the public for months now. Throw him a fucking parade.

Even though I'm not an "Arum fan" as many of you guys like to paint pac fans, I don't think Arum's actions will do anything but piss off a lot of people. This fight is already way out of his hands. He can't stop this fight even if he wanted to.

It's up to the networks at this point. If they can actually make a deal, then this fight will be done. Unless of course someone pussies out.

well your answer above tells me a lot about you. Floyd finally grew a pair- it's clear you area pac fan that will blame Floyd no matter what.

If you think this, despite what everyone involved in negotiations is saying about Arum's actions, so be it. There is literally nothing that will make you see things differently. Sadly but frankly, you're mentality is like that of **********s that still think President ***** was born in Kenya.

You have plenty of information in front of you yet you stubbornly cling to your beliefs and offer alternative expectations as if admitting you are wrong about your premise would end your life.
