All an illusion. Take away the back up dancers in Floyd's fights (other known fighters in his undercards)his ppv will go down tremendously.

Plus the fact it's most of the time in a Mexican holiday and fighting a Mexican fighter. Take that away, put in a normal day with no back-up his numbers will for sure crumble.

Conman is fooling people. Even if the line up in the undercard for the Maidana fight had a huge undercard. Ppv Numbers were still down, plus the fact that people paid to see the other boxers too, not Floyd, some of the ppv numbers are from them, and knowing that, showtime still had lost millions of money.

Schaefer had to leave golden boy for his major blunder. The huge blunder event had lost Gbp and showtime a lot of money.

See my point. All illusion. People got paid, and showtime lost. Over priced event. In short they paid Floyd what he ain't worth.

This fight scene reminds me of Mayweather Pacquiao situation.

Commodus aka Mayweather is the lavish coward emperor who killed his own pops out of jealous and spite, he was insecure and whiney and surrounded himself with lavish things and women. He even has his yes man bodyguard soldiers who obey his every demand. In this scene Mayweather even shanks Maximus aka Pacquiao the humble peoples champ to draw blood so he had an advantage going into the fight, when Commodus says he will fight Maximus the smile on Maximus face of disbelief and he tells Commodus I think you have been afraid all your life reminds me of when Pacman says YES he is going to fight me? Maximus is a noble warrior ready to die in battle the people love him, Commodus is the type of coward who has to be perfect and undefeated and is jealous that Maximus has the love of the people. He can't believe it and envies him.

But sadly if Pac and Floyd do fight, Floyd will win, but it would be one amazing feat if Floyd actually did fight him and Pac won that would be one of those story book endings the villian dies to the hero who came back from the dirt.

Mayweather sells more PPV so should get a bigger split. How much their TV networks make doesn't come into it.

He does, but he also stacks the undercard with known fighters, which pads out viewing figures.

Before this thread gets deleted for forcing Floyd to get in the ring with Pacquiao as this site is becoming more and more fighthypescene rather than boxingscene...let me just say that we as a boxing sports fans need to figure out a way how to get Floyd in the ring with Pacquiao A S A P. People are talking about ppv numbers and how Pacquiao can't sell *****. The truth is Floyd won't fight Pacquiao even if the ppv share was 99/1 on Floyd's favor. Floyd wants none of Pacquiao since day one period.

We need to start protesting because I'm not watching Floyd fight Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, or Danny Garcia. Floyd's been fighting clowns for way too long. We need to do something.

Once Floyd announces another fighter other than Pacquiao I'm ready to go to that press conference with full gears on with signs that says Pu$$y Floyd and #FightPacquiao.

I'm no Floyd hater but this ***** has to stop. Yes boxing is business but it's also a sport. How do people let Floyd get away making millions fighting two fights with a flat footed Maidena? I want to know who's better. Pacquiao or Floyd?

Stop making up excuses. Boxing is a sport yes! But boxing is also a fight! You can't say before a fight...hey I want you to get rid of your wife and I want you to deal with your taxes and I want you to first fight that guy or this guy before I fight you. When you do that it means you're scared but whatever we all already know that.

Floyd if you're scared of Pacquiao...RETIRE plain and simple.

Manny cannot give in or do anything because he is just a employee. Your question is hollow. Why should Bob Arum give in to FMJ's demands? Simple, FMJ is the A side. How many offers will Arum turn down before you realize that Arum is not going to make the fight? Arum believes Manny is going to get embarrassed and I agree.
