60/40 seems fair. Arums doesn't give a **** about PPV buys when Manny fights in Macau because they have other sources of profit from the casino and sponsors etc.

66/34 seems not that high from 60/40 but when we are talking about millions of dollars it's a different story.

If there's really negotiations going on, I hope Floyd won't price him self out of this fight.

About the rematch clause, if it's true that he won't give Manny a rematch if he wins and if Manny wins there should be a rematch, what does this tells me? Something is wrong with his confidence in beating Manny.

He gave Maidana a rematch and I bet a fight with Manny will be much closer fight than the 1st Maidana fight.

For the sake of the boxing world if it's a close fight he should give Manny a rematch but if it's a blowout then 1 fight should suffice.

I still have Floyd winning (coming from a Pacquiao fan) but the way all this so called negotiations are unfolding, I'm almost 50/50 now.

Nope, people forget Floyd recent fights, his undercards are full of well known boxers. He had a help of those fighters to pull interest to buy the ppv, without them, his numbers will go down for sure. On the other hand, Pac is and only the main star in a luck luster card when he fights. So all those ppv numbers are solely for him.

At the end of the day, those profit revenue generated will be devided from all the fighters and Floyd's guarantee etc etc.. This resulting in a no profit for showtime, as we all know 3/4 fights of Floyd showtime lost money.

If you put it perspective Pac fights earns coz only he gets paid high while Floyd fights with a full fighter entourage (undercard)

I say they really equal in value. Floyd is over priced in showtime resulting in losing money. And Pac is being paid right by arum.

I'd say they are actually equal, more so for pac, if you can see how much of a darling he is in the media with all those endorsements and his recent Nike, Footlocker commercia, Pac movie narrated by 'hollywood A lister' Liam Nieson. Pac is really a global star.

Pac is more popular around the world than Floyd. If we consider fairness. Pac should get the up in the cut, but we don't live in a perfect world so i believe 50/50 is the right choice. Each giving something in the super fight. It takes 2 to tango. Each need a great dance partner to make it a super fight.

I say 50/50 is the right deal for them. If it is 60/40 in favor of Floyd. Pac is already being very very generous.

Mayweather sells more PPV so should get a bigger split. How much their TV networks make doesn't come into it.

Source: Mayweather, Haymon and Espinoza Given Ultimatums by Moonves
          Hey guys found earlier:

This is blockbuster news, ring observers.

A well-connected source has told me today that CBS boss Les Moonves wants the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather superfight to become reality next year. No ifs ands or buts about it. Word is Moonves has told Showtime sports boss Stephen Espinoza to make the fight happen "or else."

Meaning that Espinoza will be on the street if he does not, and Haymon and Mayweather can say goodbye to any Showtime dates in the future, and that includes Haymon's stable of fighters and also the fighters who box for Mayweather Promotions.

And it makes perfect, logical sense. Haymon and Mayweather don't call the shots, Les Moonves does.

Moonves is said to be uncomfortable with the idea of televising two more Mayweather "fights" against set up handpicked opponents because those events will be certain money losers, just like Mayweather's last two fights, and three of the last four (not counting Saul Alvarez which was profitable).

So there you have it, according to my reliable and connected source, the pressure on Mayweather and Haymon is now at an all time high. They are caught in the vice and it's closing fast. And the only way out now is to agree to finally...FINALLY...fight Manny Pacquiao.

Even Floyd's uncle and father are saying in public, Floyd should fight Pacquiao next.

Floyd Mayweather, the greatest conniving, conning, evasive ducker in the history of boxing, has been cornered. It's checkmate.

Nope, it's an illusion. Take away the back up dancers (other known fighters in his undercards)his ppv will go down tremendously.

Plus the fact it's most of the time in a Mexican holiday and fighting a Mexican fighter. Take that away, put in a normal day with no back-up his numbers will for sure crumble.

            It's all an illusion.

Conman is fooling people. Even if the line up in the undercard for the Maidana fight had a huge undercard. Ppv Numbers were still down, plus the fact that people paid to see the other boxers too, not Floyd, some of the ppv numbers are from them, and knowing that, showtime still had lost millions of money.

Schaefer had to leave golden boy for his major blunder. The huge blunder event had lost Gbp and showtime a lot of money.

See my point. All illusion. People got paid, and showtime lost. Over priced event. In short they paid Floyd what he ain't worth.

Not only is the guy NOT a credible source, he used to be a poster here and got banned for malicious anti-Mayweather posts. The stuff he was posting was vile. I guess anyone can start a website these days because these days people are gullible enough to believe anything they read.

That may not be a scoop, just commonsensical business logic!

                  It doesn't have to be..

                  Just use your common sense..

Word on the streets, they lost money from Floyd's 3 out of 4 fights. Millions lost. It's not rocket science that the top dog of CBS wants to make sure they want their big investment to earn. Common sense says he really wants to make sure Floyd's last 2 fights will earn and not bum again.

And common sense says Pacquiao is the wise choice.

Lastly, we all know the top dog of CBS did talk to arum and Roach. So something good is really cooking. And Floyd needs to deliver the goods coz it shouldn't only be him who makes money.

And if you love boxing. You know this super fight will bring boxing back on the map.
