    ok, cool.

floyd right now is getting ready for a fight in 2 weeks. should he be focused on that or should he be using his time to answer the things team Manny is saying to prove he wants to fight him?

floyd mayweather doens't have to go out and say manny's name to benefit from the prospect of them fighting. casual fans care about that fight. it generates interest for their fights against other people.

both guys very clearly have benefitted from a fight that never happened. to the truly casual fan, that's the only fight that has mattered. floyd vs canelo crossed over a bit as well.

just watch casual news coverage of a pacquiao or mayweather fight. teddy atlas will be called in to talk about mayweather vs X, and get pissed when they ask him about mayweather vs pacquiao.

it has finally died down some. people don't understand what boxing is. they don't udnerstand that a sport can be fickle. it's a foreign concept to them that a fight between the two best fighters in the boxing didn't happen.

i don't blame casual fans for refusing to recognize that it was even possible that a fight like mayweather - pacquiao couldn't happen. it's freaking bogus.

only in boxing do the two best en****** not fight each other. it's a sport that is based on the idea that the two best men will make the best entertainment, yet it doesn't happen.

boxing sucks. it really does. we take what they give us because we have to.

Floyd Mayweather called his own father a "f@ggot" to try and hype a fight.

I don't think his fanatics can have any high ground on this kinda thing.

$40mil straight fee for Manny while Floyd keeps all of the PPV revenue...what an offer that was

Floyd literally pushed his jail sentence further back just so he could fight Pacquiao in May of 2012. But then came the "we need to build a stadium first" and "Manny's cut won't heal, it takes over 6 months for a cut to heal".
Bob's son in law was the dr. that said Manny's cut needed all those stitches and all the time to heal. Is there a conflict of interest here? lol..

He should focus on his fight, and take a few seconds out of his day to say "Manny, you're next." Like he said last time, when he was getting ready for Ortiz. He had no problem addressing Manny in the middle of getting ready for Ortiz, did he? Except this time he should mean it and not lie and say "he never said it."

C'mon...you guys got nothing right now. Just fall back, and revert to 2009-2010 damage control.

lets be honest-no ppv in exchange for a guaranteed amount that was42% ($12 mil US) more than Manny has ever made with bulk of ppv revenue as the a side.

It was a bit unfair-but wouldn't have needed to be made if manny accepted 1st offer.

Besides-floyd took a (relatively) unfair deal from ODH, let him choose gloves etc., went out and beat him like great fighters do.

Is it unfair to ask Manny to do same if he is also a "great" fighter?

Exactly, he opened his mouth when he should've kept it shut. This time he's keeping it shut (so far) and you decided that means he doesn't want the fight. OK.

if he does say anything, I hope you interpret it as wanting the fight.

Yeah, it is ABSOLUTELY OKAY for Manny to prove that he's great he should accept a straight fee + no % of the PPV revenue...going by Floyd's current demands he would want Manny to wear bigger gloves as well..because boxing is a "business", he the A side Manny the B side.
