I agree. It is a very bold statement and is nust another reason why he is considered a real peoples champion. It wod be a real treat if Floyd was down with this and they both made the fight for the fans and for chairty. I just can't see Floyd agreeing to something like this.

Well Manny was still under contract with Top Rank at the time. There was no way in hell Bob Arum was going to accept that fight for a flat 40 mil and no ppv cut. That deal was a cop out.

The 40 was for Pacquiao and Pacquiao only. Golden Boy would then likely work out some kind of co-promotion deal with Top Rank.
