Only on this board would a man be criticized for loving the sport and fans to the point that he would be willing to fight for free. I know that someone Is going to feel the need to bring up negotiations from five years ago and blame Pacquiao for not taking the blood test, WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE. Again, that was five years ago. What Is the roadblock today? Please don't tell me that you think that one grown man not liking another grown man Is a legitimate reason. Most of us do buisness with people we dislike on a daily basis. I'm sure many, If not everyone on this board has done something within the past five years that they wish they could change or regret. Should you be held accountable for your decisions from five years ago, for the rest of your life? If you answered yes, then surely you would agree that Mayweather should still be held accountable and still be In jail for making the decision five years ago to beat up his girlfriend In front of her children. If we are going to hold people accountable for past decisions, let's make It fair across the board.

Do you believe manny would really fight for charity? If so, ok. If that's the case he had the option to sign for the fight and then donate the proceeds.

I still don't know what all these discussions about. Floyd already admitted in a recent article that he's not risking his undefeated record on a "desperate" man. Pac calling Floyd's bluffs numerous times is nothing new. This one is the mother of them all.

The new roadblock is Pacquiao and Mayweather fighting for charity. Just another laughable excuse from the Pacquiao camp.

These statements were made after twice refusing offers to fight. When actions and words don't match you are usuallys skeptical about intent. Shouldn't that be applied equally to all fighters?

2015 if Pac doesn't sign a contract extension with Top Prank, keeps winning (fights at least Bradley to get his 2nd but official win against him), accepts at most 60/40 split of the purse(unless Top Prank can prove with open accounting books and legit actual PPV #'s that say he deserves more), has full random OSDT (if he wants VADA he should do that along with USADA), and has real negotiations then and only then will I call Floyd a duck if the fight doesn't get made!

First of all, props to Pacquiao as he seems to be the only one that cares if this fight happens or not. I like that somebody is at least trying to make an effort.

BUT, Pacquiao killed the fight at its peak over drug testing, walked away from $40 million and his promoter has his fair share of roadblocks as well like that ridiculous stadium in a dusty parking lot idea.


Its just a bunch of whiny *****es making what's already a joke of a sport into full blown circus.

As usual. Floyd fanboys are not happy. They'd rather see Pacman avoid it. You'd think that they'll celebrate and dance in the streets because they'd finally see their fantasies turn into reality. It would appear that they'd rather see Floyd beat Pacman in fantasy land. Easy fight, easy money. Worst fanbase in the sport's history.
