why can't people understand this..............their asking manny for a official IRS document showing that he payed those taxes to the u.s in the exact amount......the only thing they've gotten thus far is a letter from arum & hbo. thats what their looking for. the official documents showing that he payed those taxes in exact to the u.s. Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares, however, said that the only proof Pacquiao has given of his tax payments was a letter from promoter Top Rank and HBO of the taxes he has paid to the United States, but nothing from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.

"That is self-serving and a mere scrap of paper," she said. "What he can do is go to the IRS, ask IRS to certify this copy (of his tax payments) as a true copy. We have been waiting for that for two years."

She said of 22 banks her agency has ordered to report on Pacquiao's accounts, only two said they held deposits for Pacquiao and that the total was only 1.1 million pesos ($25,200), which is now covered by the garnish.

"It is unbelievable to me that he has only 1.1 million pesos," Henares said.

Wow some people on this site are dumb as hell...they didn't freeze his accounts in the U.S. period. They froze his accounts in the phillipines because they weren't happy with how he was responding to their claims, that by no stretch of the imagination means he doesn't have the money to pay it. If he didn't have the money to pay $50 million USD they would've just locked him up. It isn't the U.S. there, they don't cater to the rich.

yeah, thats pretty much it. If I am honest with you, to me it seems like pac does not want to give it, a simple question is, pac fought in the us in 2010, what did he present there to his country tax office that gave him the a ok?

most likely it seems that his country want the original tax document from the irs which they will not give, thats what a few articles have suggested, if he is unable to provide the original, then pac has to pay them big bucks, looks like the tax system is trying to cheat pac out of some money imo

but it could be he just needs certified copies as you said but he has not given them

I heard he also had a similar issue in 2010, eventually it was dropped when he provided the documents, that is what will happen here imo
