Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Win Over Rios Overshadowed By Tax Dilemma

Sounds a little far fetched imo, I don't even think he made that Pacquiao probably just barely made 50 million TOTAL from the yrs 2008-2009 So how in the hell would he owe 50 mil? Is his tax rate 100%? He didn't even become a major attraction until he beat Oscar in December of 2008 so this doesn't sound accurate. Either way looks like we will be seeing a lot more of Pacquiao in 2014-15

P@ct@rds rejoice. Your idol will be fighting for the next 10 years the way things are going. You might get to see Pacquiao vs Marquez part 9
Still might get to see a decisive win

But im sure this will all be over soon and nothing will happen to Pacquiao
The tricky part, and this is where experts are needed, is HOW MUCH money has Pac been making. It's obvious Pacquiao has really low guarantees in Vegas. This is why you hear *****s say stuff like "the most Pacquiao has ever made is $7 million der der". I'm sure Top Rank has low purses so that money is taxed at 39.5%, then after the PPV revenue comes in Pacquiao gets paid the rest. I'm not sure how taxes work in that scenario.

Arum not only robbed Manny of his legacy and career, but also his ring earnings. Arum will smolder in hell for his unmatched greed.

A company like TR, run by a man that used to work in the JUstice Dept., should not have its main employee dealing with this kind of tax silliness.
