I agree with the chin up hands down but Gamboas foot work, speed ad power will be the difference in the fight!! Yuri will overwhelm Mikey...remember Mikey wasn't ready before

Then again, there's always this. Gamboa was an amazing fighter who hasn't had an opponent he's had to get up for in a while. Garcia might be the spark that brings back "El Ciclon."
come on man., at least be honest. Without the juice, he hasn't looked anywhere near the phenom he was.

What am I being dishonest about? Gamboa hasn't looked like the same fighter in his last two fights. No doubt about that. But the cause is up for debate. Was it no juice? Or was it a combination of inactivity, higher weightclasses (too high, if you ask me) and sub-par coaching (Yuri's dad is his trainer)? I don't know the answer. And, quite frankly, neither do you.

I'll Jizz my pants if this is held in NY or NJ, that way I can go again.

I was looking through that Gamboa vs Mikey thread I made a couple of years ago, those were good times, LOL.

It's not that simple. Even if Gamboa was juicing, it doesn't mean his success was due to steroids. The guy was a phenom even as an amateur, where Olympic testing was a way of life. Alex Rodriguez, who was also implicated in the Bosch scandal, was busted for doping twice by MLB. Upon his return from suspension this year, he performed as well as ever (much to my surprise, I might add). The Garcia fight will be thoroughly monitored. Let's see how Yuri looks. We'll have more evidence then.

Gamboa and Rigondeaux is exactly what the others boxers should do. Have the balls to confront Arum and GB when they make a proposal that is unjust and unfair. OF course they must pay for this confrontation with this big promoters, but they have respect and honor. Those promoters are like this because the others fighters have not balls to confront they, and this business is due to the fighters.

In most cases I would agree. In Yuri's case the differences in his fights have been speed and punch output-2 things directly correlated with PED's. Yes he still has his knowledge and amatuer pedigree to fall back on.

Hoepfully, you are right and he can get it back. He and mikey would be a great fight if he does. But in his last fight gamboa looked putrid.
