Remember, HBO was picky with Ward from the beginning, they aren't going to take any schit from him.
I agree 100% Ward cannot afford to act like a diva hes not calling the shots, he had a hard enough time just getting the green light on a opponent to fight from HBO, this should have all been resolved last night as it was reported, If Ward pulls out his stock will drop a lot and he might be boxing on NBC sports next...

Fat-rod's not going to get $500K offer from any promoter or network after the weight- and VADA-stunts.

If anything I see Rodriguez pulling out before that happens, the fight almost didn't happen over money an now they expect the guy to turn around an give up 45% of his purse??? Ward can't afford not to fight tonight he has more to lose than Rodriguez...
It's Rodriguez' fault for being an unprofessional fat fuvk.

Probably not, but that's all the more reason for him not to give up 45% of his purse, let alone 35%... I just want to see a fight tonight.

Why's all your criticism falling on ward? What about the unprofessional levels of the guy in your avi?

              Ward has every right!

                Let me get this straight...

Ward is not going to step in the ring at all if he doesn't get around 45% of Rodriguez's purse? thereby he'll also lose out on his own purse.

that's idiotic and will never happen.

Yeah. Just as VADA testing was not in the contract either.

What are they going to do, sue him for not fighting? Nah, they just won't pay him. Edwin loses out, Ward loses out and so do the fans.

the rules are in the contract they signed with the WBA, Ward has every right to do what hes doing and if i was him i would its so much extra money, and all these fighters fighting in weight classes that are not theres should now pay, if not will end up with a bunch of Chavez jr's doing what ever they want

he didnt even attempt to loose the weight, im so glad this was brought up, time for these punks to pay up, he agreed n signed a contract at that be a man about it n pay your fine
