lol...imo they both beat faded versions of oscar in a different fashion....for floyd fans, no need to get all bent, because floyd is what he is, a master boxer who can make you miss, make you pay, and make a ton of dough selling it to the general public...so yeah, he's always going to get backlash...once his career comes to a close, his body of work should be judged minus any hype he's generated during his career...

It seems that whenever the guy faces true talented boxers with a wealth of experience at the elite level he looks like another elite boxer who isn't as much of a stand out as he likes to make out.

He struggles with a rightfully called split decision against a faded Oscar, a fight I thought was a draw, and was given the ''toughest fight of his career'' against a shot to sh** Cotto.

The fight that propelled him to elite level stardom was the closest fight of his career, and it was against a faded fighter. Now he cherrypicks, inexperienced up and comers or goes for past prime former greats.

I see Mayweather as an elite fighter, but I think him being leaps and bounds ahead of the competition is a mere deception, when looking at his resume I see very few prime ATG's or HOF fighters in their prime.

Mayweather was past his prime also when he fought Oscar,plus Oscar was a lot bigger then him,Oscar had to have outweighed Floyd by 15-20 pounds.Oscar was still a good fighter also.And Floyd has been past his prime since the Delahoya fight.Also Floyd has been fighting outside his natural weight class for over a decade.Cotto was probably a little past his prime when he fought Floyd,but to say he was shot is pure ******ity,plus Floyd was past his prime also.Cotto has rarely ever looked good against top competition even when he was young,would you say he was shot then?Cotto was fighting a 35 year old Floyd and still got dominated.



Most of Floyd`s win`s over hall of Famers is when Floyd was past his prime also.Its funny how you people say he picked on a inexperience fighter when you people claimed that Floyd was gonna duck Canelo lol.You people said you wanted Floyd to fight Canelo and Floyd gave you people the fight,but yet you people still complain because you knew Floyd was gonna win lol.Keep on hating while Floyd is stacking up that paper.
