Why should he be embarrassed. He showed the a great heart and chin. It's boxing people talk **** all the time and don't back it up. all these people talk **** because they dont care for or like stevens they cant simply say, he did all he could and hung in there with a monster like GGG when most when of been finished after that KD. had stevens avoided GGG they would of said hes scared hes a b***h and so on. i dont know why so many people get on here to complain and diss fighters, no matter what they do or who they fight some guys never get any credit

Stevens definitely earned himself another fight against a champ or a middleweight contender like Geale or Macklin. Maybe even Quillin, let Quillin try again at upstaging Golovkin.

Way too much credit is given for being able to survive, he never actually tried to win. All he did was cover up so he wouldnt get hit with a punch he didnt see coming, and hope a hail mary lands and KO's Golovkin. He showed up to survive not to win, there's a big difference. Instead of going out guns blazing, he glued his gloves to his face for the last 5 mins and did a tour around ring from corner to corner

He was in Clottey mode for R3 only. He looked great in R4, faster counters, combos, he made GGG retreat.

He didn't make Golovkin retreat. That was a tactical move by Gennady to get Stevens to open up so he could be countered. Stevens wasn't letting his hands go, hiding behind his peek a boo defense. You retreat when you're hurt and Golovkin wasn't fazed at all when he back pedaled.

Stevens looked to land counter shots, that's what he was banking on, so he couldn't loosen up to create openings because he was consistently getting beaten to the punch, especially the jab. I think he gave a really good account of himself and as he said he has nothing to be ashamed of.
