And the motherfucker doesn't even give any credit to his daddy GGG, what an unpolite and uneducated bastard.

      jesus christ...

as i was watching teh fight i was thinking to myself "is there anyone out there dumb enough not to give stevens credit after this fight?". everyone said he was going to get knocked clean out in a few rounds, he got dropped HARD, beat up for several rounds yet he never quit. he kept fighting and not just to survive but to win.

which incidentally is another thing that went through my mind. are ppl smart enough to see what stevens i doing? again ppl disappoint me. stevens only went into survival mode when he was hurt, as he should. the other times he was looking to set a trap for gennady, let him come in and open himself up so curtis could catch him with a counter. thats generally how stevens fights, he knocked out roman with a counter, dropped ayala heavily with a counter before finishing him off with a flurry. he couldnt catch gennady any other way with clean shots, ggg would step out of range so the shorter more slow footed stevens couldnt land. he needed to draw ggg in and thats what he did.

stevens deserves zero ridicule. he showed tremendous heart and courage and boxed very well. if stevens deserves ridicule for this performance what does ggg deserve? he didnt come close to living up to the expectations, if the reason for that isnt stevens putting up a tremendous fight then ggg himself must have fought poorly or be a lesser fighter than we thought.

personally i dont think thats the case, ggg is a beast. stevens went after that beast when nobody else wanted to, prepared diligently and fpught his ass off on fight night. golovkins just had too much power, versatility and boxing skills for him. he tried his hardest, even when things werent going his way and fought until he had nothing left. credit is due. i was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with his performance.

Curtis definitely showed a ton of heart getting up from the mat. I think people are just ragging on him because of the pre-fight things and what was done and said, and how the opposite happened to what Stevens said.

              If he didn't talk ****:

              1) He wouldn't of gotten the fight in the first place

              2) Less people would have gave a **** about this fight

Quillin ducks Golovkin and he's a *****. Stevens is the only person in the world that has the balls to call him out, goes into the fight confident and he's still a ***** in the minds of many.

Stevens showed a ton of heart and even ring smarts to hang with GGG after the hard drop.

what do you guys want to do? blow GGG?

Kid Chocolate is a champion and the BS needs to stop !!! GGG vs who ??? Chavez jr or Martin Murray because both fighters would be a win for GGG but Chocolate Naw !!! Curtis Stevens stood 5'7 with a reach of 22'' and had the speed to get in there and fight

Curtis Stevens fought to the best of his ability and came to win. He's damn right that he has nothing to be ashamed of. I've never seen Golovkin in tougher, period.

Why should he be embarrassed. He showed the a great heart and chin. It's boxing people talk **** all the time and don't back it up. Manny said he was going to stop JMM in their last fight and look what happened. He did better than 90% of the people on nsb thought he would do. I honk Stevens got some more fans this weekend.
