I predict a VERY easy UD win for Broner. Maidana has zero defense. His offense is basically his defense. Positive side of him is that he's more dangerous when hurt. However he just can't handle slick fighters. Just look at his fight with Devon who gave him a boxing lesson. Broner is a slick fighter with power (though not much at welterweight).

SMH, Broner is not a slick mover Boxer like Floyd or Devon. He likes to come forward and fight on the inside. he is a slugger at heart. No running and no clinching usually as well.

I hope he does that shelling up for 10 seconds without throwing a punch back like he does in all his fights. Maidana will have his chances no doubt. This isn't a mismatch.

Dun, this isn't an answer. Broner won. And Maidana isn't going to run like Paulie did. Devon didn't shoe shine Bradley now did he?

He won but that's not the point.. A mover with speed and volume gave him fits. Devon has all of that plus power. Bradley beat Devon with his head and by not letting him breathe. Broner doesn't have the style to do that. He's a structured counter puncher. He doesn't close distance or cut off the ring remarkably well, from what I've seen.

I hardly "rampage". I back up all my opinions with strategy and a consideration of styles.

You see, from a medievel strategic/war viewpoint, guys like malignaggi, and devon are strafer/skirmishers with varying degrees of firepower. Broner is a stronghold type. Mayweather is a mobile fortress with a stronge cadre of knights ready to charge out the front gate... Maidana is an invading force armed with siege towers and a battering ram...

Mobile fortress guys and skirmishers can flummox an invading force... But a stronghold? That can be breached and conquered. The world is littered with "impregnable" strongholds that turned out to be anything but. This is a 50 50 fight at best. But in all reality, Maidana will have the advantage because he will have

A. Initiative
B. Firepower advantage


And sure I'm actually betting real money on this on Bovada too. Why not make it 100 mill while you're at it?
