he had the balls to use this as a publicity stunt. If it didnt benefit him monetarily he wouldn't have put it out there. If a *******ual came out for the sole purpose of being true to himself despite knowing it was going to jeopardize his job or life in a negative way, I would agree that it's somewhat commendable. But to pretend that those are the real motives behind this stunt is laughable.

Furthermore, if a gay Mexican boxer would've desecrated the Mexican flag I would've been offended too. We're not a country of *******uals. If you want to wave your gay flag that's fine but to go dragging MY flag into it.

I only laugh at that because my wife thinks Sergio is hot which pisses me off.

I do though understand why someone would be upset about defacing a flag. I would be upset as well if someone did that to my American flag. I'm all for showing your pride of who u are but I'm an American and that flag represents the individuals that fought for me and gave their lives so that my wife and children could have a wonderful life. He should of chose a better way to express his pride of who he is.

On a side note I understand how Puerto Ricans would be upset. My wife and I went there on our honeymoon and they are very proud of their country and some of the best people I've ever met.

Should not mess with any flag, means a lot to people. If he wanted rainbow colors or some rainbow flag, that is his choice but to rearrange the PR flag is not cool in my opinion.

True, but Puerto Rico hasn't come around to tolerance of gays like America has so to most of them its sacrilege.
