I don't think much of him either, solid pro and that's all. He was considered the #1 lightweight though, and I won't take that away from Broner in retrospect. Still would have liked to see Broner fight Vazquez or Abril.

It won't matter too much against Maidana, because his footwork is poor as well.

If he were in with someone like Crawford who can control the range, and with his lateral movement Broner will be chasing ghosts all night and getting outworked when Crawford steps in, then out again.

Against bums? I like Tcraw, I even gave em a little knickname. But he hasnt done much for us to judge. I dont think I ever seen Broner take a Canelo break. He always lets his hands go for 12 full rounds. Counters and combinations non stop.

Litzu, Perez was a good fighter, Ponce, Demarco. Compared to Crawford...Oh wait, we cant compare.

the thing about this debate is crawford is relatively unproven at the world level. say what u want about broner, but he has fought world class guys and won.

I like the way you highlight a portion of my comment instead of responding to the whole thing. Cherrypickin. And Madaina is flatfooted. He fights nothing like Paulie. Broner will be flatfooted, get in the pocket and beat this bum to a pulp. And I barely even like Broner.
I did not say that Broner was not versitile,I also only highlighted what I thought he need to improve on..I've been following Broner for sometime now,I've never been impressed with his footwork tbh...So I hope your right, when ya say he can do it all..

Broner is no Mayweather,he can be touch from his shell..He better not stand in front of Maidana,I don't care what ya talking about..He will need footwork against Maidana..

Broner doesnt care about having an ugly fight where his defense looks less than stellar. He's okay with looking sloppy, because to him he feels at some point you have to eat his power. He fights the whole fight thinking like that. With Paulie he was sluggish and never threw his combinations.

He was even close to doing that against Paulie.

If these two guys fight it not going to be a war.

Allot of people think this. But what will actually happen is, Crawford will move and outbox in certain spots, and Broner wont care. He will confidently let Crawford do his thing. Then make those small adjustments on the fly. When Crawford throws the body shot, and tries to slip the oncoming counter, Broner will counter from a different angle. Broner throws the check hook to the body, so when you slip your head goes to the punch. I have rarely seen that. But he can change it up and throw something different. He just adjusts fast as hell as far as his counters. He will be confident while getting outboxed, but he will overwhelm the crap out of Crawford, and it wouldnt even be funny.
