Comments Thread For: Arum: Crawford More Talented, Dedicated Than Broner

Barely half a year has passed since Terence Crawford had an opportunity and made the most of it — and much has come because of that.

Crawford had stepped in to face Breidis Prescott as a late replacement for the injured Khabib Allakhverdiev. Crawford excelled and impressed, taking a clear unanimous decision on the undercard to HBO’s broadcast of the Brandon Rios-Mike Alvarado rematch.

Crawford was back on HBO in June, scoring a sixth-round stoppage of Alejandro Sanabria. And he’ll be making his third appearance on the network on Oct. 5, fighting on the undercard to Miguel Cotto’s bout with Delvin Rodriguez. [Click Here To Read More]

        100% agree with Bob here.

Crawford looks a great talent, definitely a future world champion, and I would pick him to beat Broner at 140lbs.

Great defensive skill, but is not frightened to throw the big punches when needed.

The dude has footwork as well, unlike Broner.

And Arum is right about the dedecation side of things.

You can see in Crawford's fights the work he puts in, because the game plan is always spot on

Agreed. I don't think Broner has the foot speed to keep up with Crawford. I can see Broner being the aggressor, while Crawford keeps his distance and sets traps.

I think this may be the only statement from Bob that I agree with. Both Crawford and Broner are extremely talented, however I do believe Crawford is more talented and clearly more dedicated.
