Trainers such as Steward and Roach have done it successfully.

I agree a trainer does not make a huge difference maybe only 5% midway through your career.

But Hunter actually takes a fighter backwards, and yet he thinks he is great and the star.

He's not a fraud, but I do believe he's overrated.

Brandon Gonzalez and Andre Ward are doing the best right now though, the 3 that came over midway through their career, Berto, Khan, and Angulo, haven't look improved at all and fight exactly the same or worse than they did before. Yes they have habits ingrained in them, but great trainer/fighter pairings can occur later in career as well and still be successful.

why are you making such a big deal he only has like 10 fighters lol. Khan got ktfo twice before coming to hunter. But khan sucks cause of hunter. Berto was in 2 tough wars before coming to hunter. But again all hunters fault lol

His track record so far isn't very good, but he's also been brought in to try and fix guys who are at the end of their primes like Khan, Berto, and Angulo, or fighters who aren't very good like Dallas Jr.

          We'll see if things improve.

what fighters have roach and steward changed?

if you notice with roach fighters, they like to fight in spurts and use their legs for defense and attempt to steal rounds. but at the end fo the day skill wise all these fighters are the same when push comes to shove.

Because Hunter is coming in acting like he can fix all these issues when he really doesn't have a clue.

Would you want Cotto to be trained by Hunter?

Roach will have Cotto looking the best has been in year.

The media got on the band wagon itself in 2012.

Hopefully other fighters have wised up and won't make the same mistake by making a switch to Hunter's team.
You have to be like that in boxing. It's an individual sport. The man has to train fighters to make a living. It's not like he makes a sales pitch and then he trains a fighter. Khan and him worked out multiple times before choosing to go with Hunter.

Hell no I wouldn't want them working together

I agree, Roach is bringing out Cotto's body work and smart pressure fighting. I think he's gonna look beastly in a week
