He's not a fraud. I'm not sure he's a great trainer either. I can see improvement with Angulo. Alot of people think Lara is the biggest threat to Floyd and he gave Lara all he could handle. I see subtle movement in Angulo that has turned him into a new and improved bum.

Hunter is exactly the same as Enzo Calzaghe, Enzo was living off Joe's success and Hunter is just living off Andre success.

Hunter is just so much more hyped up.

Great thread OP, Hunter is one of the most pretentious morons in the game and has the most annoying voice ever... he sounded ******ed in Berto's corner he didn't know WTF he was doing...''Show me how great you are'' tries to speak like he's some wise old man when he's just a lucky guy that managed a really naturally talented fighter who was well schooled by his father in the sport before Virgil took over...

Khan looked like a deer in headlights under Hunter, doesn't know WTF he is doing in that ring trying to be Mr Technical... he should have stayed with Roach and just brought in an assistant to deal with defense... typical khan though he blames everyone but himself and will pay dearly in his future fights under clueless Hunter.

Khan made a big mistake in leaving Roach.
It was Khan's mistakes not Roach's training that cost Khan the Garcia fight.

He thought the grass was greener, but maybe he now effectively ended his career.

I can't stand the way Hunter thinks he is the star of the show, his antics would put John Terry to shame.

Who's hyping up Hunter? Trainer of the year is more about politics than boxing. Jack Mosleys won it twice.

a trainer can't fight for the fighter. guys switching trainers who are already mid way through their career won't yield much other than hype and fan interest.

It seems mainly Virgil Hunter himself, he thinks the sun shines out of his ***

The media got on the band wagon itself in 2012.

Hopefully other fighters have wised up and won't make the same mistake by making a switch to Hunter's team.
