I don't take this issue as as a pure laziness issue. I think the guy filled out to be a natural Lt Heavy long ago. Only his people still want to see if he can beat up smaller guys.

So they keep trying to drain him and drain him, only his body will no longer listen as he gets older. They should just start matching him up with other natural Lt Heavyweights and stop having him Masquerading as anything else.
