Chavez, you fought Martinez at 160. Then move up to 168 and have the attitude that it doesn't matter if you can't make the weight or not.

You're becoming more of a fighter living off of your name (bashing Canelo's popularity and comparing to your own, not keeping in mind that you have your father's name and Canelo's popularity isnt based on the relation to a legend). Also you are now trying to build your entire reputation and legacy on catching Martinez in the last round of a fight you were getting worked in and STILL lost because you weren't good enough to finish and Martinez was good enough to get up and fight back.

la vaca was'nt running 2am in the morning like floyd mayweather. he was walking around eating a bowl of cereal in some pink draws. chavez jr is a spoiled character. the only way to fix him is for nobody to show up at the fight.

JR's disrespect for the sport is sad. But his cavalier attitude is borne from those people who allow it. Peoples = broadcasters, promoters, Team Vera.

They are the ones that have to wipe away this smug sense of entitlement from JR's face. They have to remind him that it is a PRIVILEGE (that few enjoy) to be a professional boxer who makes good coin.

Man if only he was dedicated, he can be great like his father.. But for now he's only #3 mexican fighter behind JMM and Canelo in my opinion.

Floyd trains at 2am because he wants to be in the best possible shape

Chavez trains at 2am because he didnt train during the day

Wow!!! He just compared himself to Floyd. The only comparison is that they are both Jr's.

Don't he realize that his 2am workouts is to make weight in the last couple days due to his lack of discipline, while Mayweather's 2am workouts is usually his 2nd or 3rd workout of the day, which is a normal day for him.
