And yeah, but I think the Khan-Alexander winner will get the shot in May so Garcia needs to do something in the mean time. If he's not moving to 147 then Matthysse or Peterson are the only options really.
If I told you there was a fighter and he had 3 losses but 2 were robberies and the other was close I'd be embarrassed.

But Danny stepped up, and showed he is capable of beating a "top guy" that won't be filing for social security in the next year or so. Props to him for that.
I knew Garcia was going to win from the beginning but I think a lot of posters/analysis/fans jumped on the Lucas Matthysse band wagon because of his power. They didn't properly access the fighters styles. Garcia is the kind of fighter who learns from his mistakes and corrects them.
Matthysse can't beat him. Best thing would be for Matthysse to fight some other opponents instead of calling Garcia out for a rematch because another loss to Danny would hurt his career. He did well and should move forward in another direction. Same with Danny.

Swift adjusted in BOTH fights and if they ever do rematches for those 2 fights....I am almost certain Swift will win both rematches by KO
nobody prepares for cuts and broken bones.....they train to avoid getting hit....so stop that eye **** and keep it 100....his defense let him down....that's why his orbital bone got fractured

Khan would probably beat Danny in a rematch, which is why Angel made it clear he wanted no part of it.

Matthysse didn't have a plan B because his heavy hands usually don't require it. I said from the beginning that Garcia's chin and his boxing ability will be the difference. Once he passed the test from a flush shot to the side of his face in the first round I knew he would come out on top. Swollen eye or not Matthysse was losing that fight.

He never loses his cool and times his opponents very well. Matthysse was the flavor of the month. He's good too but once you take his punch away he can be beat because he doesn't have another look.

As for Matthysse, I'm with you. He loses to Danny 7 or 8 times outta 10. At this point, a rematch is pretty much pointless. If anything, Danny would probably beat him worse because he won't be nearly as tentative as he was early in the fight. He knows he's better. He knows he can handle the power (which is overrated.) So he would simply come out and establish who's boss from jump.
