that's not true. he did plenty of lowblows, clinching, and rabbit punching matthysse into the ropes. matthysse would have won if the ref didn't blow the 11th. that is actually a fact.

I voted wrong I meant to put Matthysse 4-2 instead of Garcia 4-2. I had it 4-2 for Matthysse in the first half of the fight. The second half of the fight I had it 4-2 Garcia. So I had it a draw, but I can understand completely why Garcia won since he did much more damage to Matthysse & got the better punches in. If it wasn't for the eye though, I'm pretty positive Matthysse would have done much better in the second half of the fight & would have won on the scorecards.

Not really. I thought LMM clearly won the 10th, while the knockdown was questionable and he was dominating the round.

The only thing he's really off about is the 12th imo.

The knockdown did seem questionable. Even in slo-mo, I couldn't tell if Matthysse just lost his balance as he was being pressured into space, or if he was succumbing to Garcia's blows.

Had it 114/112 for Garcia. Round 10 is the defining round for me. Its close and God knows Id like to give it to Luc but Danny edged it out. At the end of 6 I had it 5 to 1 for Lucas. The 4th was Dannys round. I have 5 solid low blows counted by the end of round 6. THeir were 9 solid low blows by Danny in the whole fight. 1-3 Luc, 4 Dan, 5-6 Luc, 7-11 Danny, 12 Luc. With 10.8s in 11 and 12 for Danny and Lucas. Round 10 truly is the defining round.

The low blows were numerous and blatant. I mean, they weren't even just below the belt. They were flush shots on the nuts. I was amazed Weeks even bothered to take a point, he seemed so content to allow the fouls.

I had it 4-2 Matthysse giving the closest round to Garcia...... 3-3 is as generous to Garcia as possible, and Id argue It was fairer to have it 5-1 Matthysse than 3-3.....Showtime was a bit biased for Garcia in the beginning just because Mathysse wasn't jumping him....same thing HBO did in the Judah fight, they held it against Matthysse that he wasn't living up to their expectation, instead of actually judging who was landing the cleaner shots(those right hands to the body Mathysse was landing went unnoticed...again)

I think Al Bernstein even said that Garcia was doing better than expected at one point in the first half of the bout. Paulie seemed to be pro-Garcia or at least positively pre-disposed to his style.
