I thought Oscar handed to Canelo the manual to beat Floyd? Canelo's performance was way far from the style Oscar used. How could someone bigger than Cotto and wider than Oscar box instead of use his physical advantages?

Greenhorn written all over Canelo. Mayweather was right to pick him now.

So what about Floyd fans such as myself that never bought into that nonsense you described? Does the "stans" opinion triumph over the non-stans?

Floyd does it to HOFs just the same way , Floyd controls everybody he fights , fast slow hard soft , they all just miss , Floyd reads the play like no other , and is then given physical attributes that are extreme .

And if he had 1 punch ko power then it would just be very unfair to his opponents lol!

I'm a big boxing fan and a fan of Floyd and I said it on here, on espn.com and on youtube when the fight was first being discussed that it was a farce. There was never a legit chance that Canelo would be much of a challenge to Floyd. My reason being that Canelo had not fought anyone of the top jmw fighters with the ecxception of Trout. Also looked at how Mosley backed him up all night in there fight. Now they are talking about Khan. Good Godamighty would Floyd have a field day and I would bet on Floyd getting a ko in that one. Floyd will get too old to be Floyd one day but until then I expect him to keep cashing in on easy opposition because his skills are just that much above the other top guys in and around 147. That said I would give Swift the best chance of anyone right now to beat Mayweather and I think he would still come up well short. But hey Floyd has to fight someone and there is no shortage of suitors lining up to fight him.

I see Floyd a lot like Calzaghe now. Not powerful, racks up points, but rarely pleases the crowd and rarely hurts his opponents. People said Calaghe just slapped, but but his slaps were good enough to keep fighters honest.

Canelo's elbow/arm punching was a huge part of his gameplan, it just didn't work. I clearly remember Canelo asking the guys he was sparring whether or not the punches on their arms/shoulders hurt, they said yes and it affected them greatly because they couldn't lift their arms.

Rocky Marciano used to do the same exact thing, he'd brutalize his opponents arms, just keep throwing until they went numb, I heard he even broke one of his opponent's arms/elbow.

Canelo fought a really intelligent fight, he did everything in his power to win and it just wasn't enough. Floyd is just on a whole other level, the only guy that can beat him is Ward.

But they still pay thousands to fill the arena every time he fights and people continue to buy PPV everytime he fights. They can boo me everytime I come to work too as long as I still get paid.
