No he is not. He is too good to be a hype job. Resume doesnt match his skills but the man is elite and should get credit for that. His groupies overhype his status but that happens with a lot of fighters, especially in this era of bling over the ring.

Every other opponents age becomes a factor (JMM 38 when Floyd fought him I believe, Shane 38, Ortiz was considered too young etc..) but those same ppl harping on those opponents ages are the same ones saying guys like Garcia, some with Canelo should wait a couple years before fighting Floyd. Ppl are asking Floyd to fight prime fighters when he's 38+ but hold him to different standard if he fights a guy 36+.
Floyd takes a long break comes back & fights Shane...EXCUSES: Shane over trained, he's old, Floyd KNEW that stuff would have an affect on him, that's why he did it.
I'm not understanding how you can "cherry pick" the #1 guy in a division...especially a bigger, stronger, younger guy like Canelo. Let's take Floyds age & size into account if/when he beats him.
