Floyd is gonna finish his career undefeated.

We know the Pacquiao fight will never happen, nor will he go to 154 were guys like Golovkin and Martinez (not sure how Martinez will look after the long layoff) could and probably would beat him.

So that basically leaves guys like Matthysse, Alexander, Khan, Garcia and Thurman as future opponents......non of which have any chance of beating him.
The Sports book clearly thinks otherwise with Floyd only a 2.5 to 1 favorite. (source- Betonline) Considering how almost all his fights the past 4 years, when he was cherry picking he was always above 9 to 1 favorite.

Smart money is betting on Canelo. After this fight, Floyd will be considered a Bum and Floyd groupies will complain Canelo fought a small WW in Floyd.

This thread is another ****** ass thread..If you've followed Floyds career he is clearly not a hype job..To believe this means you've just started watching Mayweather..Even in his latest fights he's fought better opponents then most..This thread yet again is ******..

Good for Alvarez, why will that make Floyd a hype job??Do you know the meaning of hype job??If so then you should know Floyd does not fit the criteria of a hype job..If you believe Alvarez will win, cool make a thread about that, would make more sense then a thread about Floyd being a hype job..When he clearly very far from being that..

floyd proved he was the real deal when he beat genaro hernandez 17 years ago, who was a great champion. he proved it again countless times since that day as he compiled one of the best resumes in the last 20 years.

only a damn fool would call him a hype job, in fact i dont even think you know what hype job means. if you dont like him that one thing but his achievements are nothing short of extraordinary. and no, im not even a fan of his but his greatness is undeniable.

Lets be honest, put aside whatever intentions and atrocities that have surrounded him outside the ring, inside the ring for me he is a pleasure to watch (for me personally)

It takes incredible discipline and courage to allow someone to swing the first punch and slip it counter it and duck their counter.
I do believe he is the greatest boxer of our generation, many here will disagree with me, n that's entirely fine.

A Hype job no, but he is his own worst enemy.

I mean you wanna talk about Cherry picking fights, the guy is 36 and fighting a 22 year old next month, sure some people will say he's not ready, Ghost was 26 when he fought Floyd? Ok Cotto you can argue was passed his prime, but he's still younger than Floyd, and Ortiz is about 26 isn't he?

So I dunno, if he wasn't who he was, flipped around he'd be the cherry pick because of the age gap on most of his opponents. Swings and roundabouts.
His most legit opponent before he faked his retirement and after he came back but then the catchweight destroyed its legitimacy.

                  False.

                  Mayweather actually fights ranked fighters.

Calzaghe fought 3 fighters in his career who were in the top 5 in his division, Mayweather fought 15+.

HBO finally put Wlad on for this fight.

Haye does nothing but circle and eat jabs all night and blames his toe lmao

Plenty picked against Haye Infact most UK writers picked Wlad, he was the favourite in the fight.

he is pretty overrated, a bronze medalist who has never fought a prime atg but struggled or lost to the best fighters he's faced(castillo/hoya/cotto) yet people love to claim he is the most skilled fighter ever? LOL
