Rigo got Donaire's respect in the first 30 seconds of the fight. Then in the middle rounds when Rigo decided to stick n move is when Donaire decided to sort of come on. Danny fades in the late rounds, its well documented. So if he waits that late to get Lucas' respect then he's fked.

Very good analysis.
Regardless of possible stamina problems, I don't think Danny would be able to stick and move nearly as effectively as Rigo in the middle rounds of the Donaire fight.
He needs to earn Matthysse's respect, and by reflex be able to control the pace of the fight. If Danny manages to keep the exchanges short, I think he has a chance to win.
That said, I still give an edge to Matthysse.
You mean like Alvarado did vs Rios in the rematch?
The only guy to floor Alexander and the only guy to stop Soto. Keep trying.

What you don't seem to understand is that it's more about the right opportunity and not so much the punch. Garcia KO'd Arnoutis who went 12 rounds with Ricardo Torres. Does not mean Garcia ****s harder than Torres...
Easier said than done. One thing you forgot to mention, Garcia will be getting hit even harder as he attempts to do this.

Yes I know but he also has a very good chin too.
Good chin maybe. But not the chin to withstand Lucas' punches. If Morales and Judah had him hurt what will Matthysse do to him? Plus his face is made of jelly.

The right punch at the right moment.
Are you from Argentina?
I already replied to your ****** ass post about Mike Anourtis. Garcia loves leftovers and Mike was one of them.

Sort of.
Danny has better fundamentals than Alvarado, on the other hand Matthysse has a much better ring IQ than Rios. It could be a Rios vs Alvarado at a higher level.
Not that I'd bet my house on this outcome, but if I was asked how Danny Garcia could win, that's his best option imo.

Alvarado was very disciplined in that fight. He knew when to box and move and he knew when to exchange and for how long. Garcia needs a page put of Alvarado's book if you ask me.

Ok before I answer that question. Please answer me this question. Since when has Lucas Matthysse, challenged an opponent in a ring with the caliber of Danny Garcia's punching power and chin? Because his only notable win to this day is Lamont Peterson.
