    Wow....one uppercut. That told me!

There's a difference between appreciation and being excited. I can appreciate what Wladimir does but his fights and his style are not exciting. I didn't realise we were talking about who's the better boxer. But Lewis wins that one too.

I don't know about "Greatest" but he was one of my favorite fighters.

You asked for one and I showed one...

I am not saying Wlad rely too heavy on uppercuts (surely nowhere near as Lennox did), but he can throw them.

I haven't followed the rest of the thread, so I don't really know what was your precise point apart from that 'wlad is not exciting' which I don't agree.

Regarding lennox vs wlad I gave my opinion there many times before, so I won't go there..

I respect Al's opinion, he's usually spot on and is extremely knowledgeable, but he's wrong on this one.

Prime Lennox would beat them all convincingly apart from Ali - in my mind that fight could go either way, it depends on what game plan Ali comes up with for Lewis. I think a prime Ali was a superb tactician. It's really a question of whether Lewis' size advantage and own game plan would see him to victory or if Ali's game plan would pay off in late in the fight - it's a tough one to call. Over 12 rounds Lewis might take it - over 15 it might go to Ali.

The first Foreman would uncurl all his braids with 1 shot.

Not the best but top 3,, def top 5

                Ali
                Holmes
                Lewis

                Just my opinion...
Guys will say marciano or louis or demspey....
All would get ko'd in under 8 by lewis....... more likely 2-3 rounds...

Ali and holmes would beat lewis, but i dont think anyone else could... Prime holyfield of the early 90's could give him problems....

Prime tyson has a punchers chance....

The reality is Marciano's 0 is the only reason people consider him a top 10... You don't even have Jack Dempsey in yours, or George Foreman! Even the fact that you have Larry Holmes below Lennox and the Klitschko's is a travesty!

You have Ali at 9 when he was the standout boxer of the Golden Age of the division says it all, this is the worst heavyweight list I've ever seen! Hands down

Joe Loius was best HW ever, period. He has the best resume of any HW.

He was however 66-2 and only 37 going into the ROCK fight and got embarrassed. Too many people saying too much ****e about that fight. HW boxers mature in their 30's. Marciano was a great HW in a bad HW era. Still he was 49-0.My point about the LaStarza fight was simple...he never beat Marciano and got KTFO'd in second fight badly.

I have Dempsey #4,read my list again.

Foreman was very good HW.I have him at # 10.

Vlad KO easily beats Holmes and so would Lewis.

Ali is most overrated boxer in history of boxing !!!

Ali was beaten badly by : Frazier,Norton X's 2 at least but really all 3 fights, Spinks,Holmes,,Cooper and Berbeck and was down on the canvas to stiffs.

You talk about Marciano's mob ties and forget that Liston took a dive in the rematch after quitting in their first fight.Ali was out cold vs Cooper and they ripped his glove with the scissors in his corner to cheat. Ali also fought a WAY OVER THE HILL Archie Moore and Leon Spinks after 7 fights. And don't use the "he was old **** here" as Ali's best fighting years were by far the 1970's.

That's one of the worst top 9 lists I've ever seen.
