Lewis was a great fighter, but he was no Ali. Ali came out of shape and still finished fights win or lose. He didn't get stopped in his prime.

Why did Lewis not rematch him?
Why did he wait 3 years to rematch McCall only once he was on a drug rehabilitation programme?
Never fought a single southpaw.
Tyson was shot to pieces, so was Tucker who was another recovering drug addict, Morrison was ill. Holyfield x2 was a shell of his former self after fighting Bowe x3, Tyson x2 & struggling with the likes of Vaughn Bean
One punch K.Od by a Tyson sparring partner, one punch K.Od by Rahman.
Promised a rematch to Vitali on national TV, turned down career high purse and ran into retirement.
Greatest HW ever Good names on his resume but most was well past it & lets be fair the same people who big up Briggs, Grant etc because they was undefeated or whatever are the same who downplay say Wlads wins over guys like Brock, Chagaev etc despite the above only having one win worth absolutely anything & that was a disputed win over a 50yr old, fat Foreman.

They have plenty of time yet and I am not making bald claims such as they are THE greatest of all time. Just posting facts and some interesting observations.
Here is another fact; Rigondeaux in only his 13th pro fight beat a great fighter actually in their prime, something Lewis failed to do in his entire career.

Rigondeaux's amateur achievements >Lewis's
Rigondeaux in only his 13th pro fight has cleared the entire division and unified.
What had Lewis done in the same time frame? Where was he even 20 fights down the line?
Oh that is right he was defending some absolutely worthless tin strap against bums in his hometown against Frank Warren selected tomato cans.
Rigo will easily surpass Lewis in terms of greatness who was handed Bowes old strap that was thrown in the rubbish, literally! Vacant strap against McCall.
I am sure many, many fighters could unify fighting a load of has-beens like Lewis did. Look who and how he won those straps.
Rigo blazed undefeated Ramos for his first world title in only his 8th pro fight, forward to his 13th where he starched prime, top p4p, 3 weight world champion Nonito Donaire.
Tbh its Lewis who doesn't belong in the same breath as Rigondeaux.
People might want to scout his record and claim hes one of or the greatest ever based on names but its not just who you beat, its when you beat them.
Why avoid every question? If hes so great justify your case. Tell me why he never rematched Mercer who beat him to a pulp. Tell me why he never fought a single southpaw. Tell me a single great fighter he beat whilst they was prime.
