I don't doubt that Sergio would fight him but Lou DiBella wants no part of this fight. Not any time soon at least. He'll try and stall it as long as possible whilst hoping the Golovkin buzz dies down. He did the same thing with Pirog.
Who's Pirog? Who has he fought recently or ever? Is he supposed to be a big attraction? Is he the Russian part-timer who's fought maybe 3 C-D level JMWs in the last 3-4 years and looked woeful in every single fight. So when's he fighting again?

In case you didn't know had Sergio fought Pirog he would have lost his WBC mandatory status and shot at a big money 500K ppv.

If JCC could put Martinez down late and almost finish him then GGG definitely will..
Don't be too sure Chavez Jr. wouldn't put GGG to sleep.

I'm fairly sure, since Chavez has like 2 stoppages in the last 8 fights, over fragile Andy Lee and Manfredo lol. Another piece of evidence: he landed hundreds of punches on stationary Zbik, never dropped him. Zbik then got stopped by Sturm's jab, couldn't deal with the precision. But it's boxing and crazier things have happened.

Martinez is one hell of a slick fighter and does so many things great but it seems that with the injuries and what appears to be the other side of his great career, that GGG would most likely win by a vicious KO. 3 years ago I may have seen this differently. Who knows, maybe Martinez has one big one left in him.

The HUGE gap in amateur experience and technical skills may be too much for Chavez to deal with. JCCJR has tons of heart though.

You're right, Darren Barker was a much bigger attraction and had a resume that rivalled Sugar Ray Leonard's

The only flaw I'm seeing is GGG right now is his good boy baby face. He appears to bruise very easy If you can touch him before he touches you...

                    Two of my favorite fighters.
They have to fight 'cause it's the legitimate championish fight we all want to see. Sergio is the champ' because he have fought the best, he must continue, and i'm sure he is not afraid. Big fight!

The guy just came out of rehab. Dzinziruk had not fought a live body in 2.5 years. Ruined Barker? The guy had 2 life and death wins at EBU level before Sergio, what was there to ruin. GTFO.
