Every fighter that gets a shot at Mayweather talks about pressure being the key and it ALWAYS ends the same way.

Canelo only fights half of each round as he doesn't seem to have the stamina to fight for 3 full minutes. How the hell does he expect to beat Floyd with a connect rate of less than 20% especially when he doesn't fight the full 3 minutes???
People think Mayweather is gonna feel the supposed "power" of Alvarez (Matthew Hatton lasted 12 rounds with Canelo) and just fall apart?????
Mayweather dominates all night and the catchweight allows Canelo to still be marketed after he gets beat as he hasn't been beat at his "natural" weight.

The difference here is that Canelo comes in at 175. No in asked Pac man to fight James Toney or Chad Dawson. It's unfair. People are asking Floyd to fight at 160. Pacquiao fights at a catch weight but the opponent never outweighs him by 20 to 30 pounds. Dela Hiya was able to call the shots when he was king but for some reason Floyd gets flack fpr doing the same thing. Either way, Canelo loses a boxing clinic by wide margin. He should have waited for this fight next year.

ture fan - I agree Mayweather will win, BUT, thats not true. Pac was outweighed by over 20 lbs when he fought Margarito

yes i am truly glad this fight was made, however... 2 champions at 154 fighting at 152? sure glad sergio didn't do this to chavez, or roy do this to ruiz. I guess i'm in the minority, but the way i see it is if you both have titles at 54, thats what the fight should be at. And if 2 lbs isn't a big deal, then why? guess it wouldn't be a big deal if money didn't run his mouth about fighting guys where they are comfortable. all this being said, floyd ud 12rds (ginger doesnt have the stamina needed to beat floyd, also, doesn't throw enough) peace ya'll

You Sir are absolutely correct in every way.

Canelo already has trouble making 154 hence him always fading

early and like u stated takes a lot of time off during rounds

152 means he is cutting muscle not water and will be

            very detrimental.

What's he gonna say the truth that 152 is gonna be very

hard on his body and cause him to be less than the fighter he

was capable of being but spend 70$ anyways?

Look what happened to DlH vs PAC.

He could barely walk to the ring to fight.

This is bad for Floyd who I think beats Canelo easy at 154.

This 152 draining win won't help his legacy.

For people who said this won't add to his legacy; really right now is Canelo considered a ATG no; he's barely a P4P fighter dependin on the list. Big fan of the guy it's a bigger win for Canelo than it is for Floyd. In 10 years this may turn out to be a huge win if Canelo turns out to be the great fighter I think he can be. It's a big fight cause 80% of the people on this board swore Floyd wouldn't come near Canelo now they are crying about the catchweight. Which I am dissappointed in I wish it was at the full 154 limit.

Pressure to beat Floyd? oh god here we go again...

Khan with smarts and an iron chin is what's needed... To pot shot and win rounds.

Hope Canelo comes with atleast two solid gameplans...

Your comparing 2lbs to de la hoya dropping 9lbs .... LOL

Canelo won his 154lbs belt at 150lbs.......

Canelo came in at 153lbs for Trout.....

                    Hypocrites

I don't like the catch weight because I know Floyd will still beat Canelo but this just gives the haters an excuse to talk crap. Never mind Manny making the same demands for the past 4 years and been talked about being an all time great. Lets not be hypocrites and give this man his just due. Lets consider this, lets say Manny was fighting Canelo Sept. 14 instead of Mayweather, everyone would be saying how great Manny is for just taking the fight. Lets be real stop making excuses and just enjoy this great matchup. Peace

Hypocrisy, but I have no problem with this fight at all.

                      Should be a good one.

If both parties can make the weight then so be it. Who gives a **** about the belts, I just want these two to fight. It's not like Canelo is not the best at 154 with or without the belts.

Give it up to Mayweather for taking this fight.

                      Mayweather UD ALL DAY.
