Dude mayweather is good but he's not the god people make him out to be. This dude Matthysse is the biggest pound for pound puncher since Mike Tyson, he will steamroll through Mayweathers punches. Mayweather will do all he can to duck this fight.

See, I saw this as a pick 'em fight because I thought Peterson could smother Matthysse's punches, and work him close, not once did I mention Peterson's boxing ability because we saw him get killed against Bradley, Ortiz and Khan when he opt to box. I have always viewed Peterson as a decent boxer, I'll even show you my old posts if you want, since the bold insinuates that I have an agenda here.

i thought petersen boxed ortiz's ears off esp in the later rounds which lead to a draw despite getting dropped twice in which the judges got the scorecards perfectly..

i truly believe mayweather retires undefeated. that said, if lucas matthysse beats danny garcia, outside of alvarez, there isn't a better challenge out there for him. maybe pacquiao can make a comeback to beat guys like rios and bradley, but even then i think mayweather would school him to a wide decision.

Danny's defense isnt really top notch and yea those looping hooks could lead to big counters. I would favor Lucas slightly but I wana see how he will react to Dannys power shots. I think Lucas will be a little hesitant to go toe to toe and box smartly. The fight will come down to who can land the bigger shots first. Lets not forget, Danny's chin is light years better than petersons. If Danny does pulls off a win it will be via KO obviously. His power makes him a live dog.

Good points, it could really come down who lands the big one first. Garcia has a good chin too, but he must be ready to go deep in the fight if he needs to. He gassed against Judah late and against Matthysse, that could really cost him. Definitely want to see it happen, the fight to prove who the best 140 pound fighter in the world is without a doubt.

He could punch alright but he doesn't have the footwork or foot speed to trouble Floyd, it'll be Mayweather-Guerrero all over again.

The difference is Matthysse has so much more power than Guerrero.
Matthysse is the most dangerous opponent for Mayweather under 154. Im not saying he would beat him but he is the most dangerous and hardest hitting opponent. I hope Mayweather agrees to fight Matthysse but Matthysse has to destroy Garcia first. And he will destroy him!

Hard to go against Floyd in this fight. Lucas isn't fast enough and he has power, sure, but Floyd has faced bigger punchers. I wanna see it tho and I think it will happen.
