James Toney promising 217...

I just find it funny how people will crucify Roy Jones for losing to Glen Johnson and Tarver (out of his prime) and Toney has losses to Thadzi, Tiberi, Griffin twice (who is a good fighter, not a GREAT one). I guess I see the negative in James Toney because I don't stand for what he says and how he acts in such utter disregard for the sport I love.

The people who crucify Jones for his losses to Glen and Tonio are off their rocker and are just looking for a reason to **** on an all-time great.

Tarver and Johnson aren't great fighters either...no better than Griffin was at his best.

Toney may have a loud mouth but this guy loves the sport and knows a lot about it. He was born to fight and he shows it when he gets in the ring with his natural ability and mastery of technical fighting.

In real life he's a real nice guy...I've met him twice and he's very personable. I feel like people think he's a loudmouth ******* in real life or something, which is not the impression I have gotten of him at all. This coming from someone who has been around him for more than just a handshake and an autograph.

He was considered the best pound for pound fighter on the planet on two seperate occasions, and now at in the twilight of his career is universally ranked in the top of the Heavyweight division, about to win the WBC title.

Suggesting Toney won't make the HOF is funny enough, but not aprecitaing watching the systematic display of slipping and counter punching he puts on shows what kind of fan you are:
