Mayweather could easily put on alil more muscle mass to come in fight night at 155-158. Martinez making 154 and coming to fight night at 167 at most and not 170+. Putting on nearly 20 lbs over night would be ******, costly to the body and understood by Martinez.
      Why is Martinez at 160?
Bigger names and better pay days. For some reason Martinez never got a title shot as a jr middleweight, even though he won a title eliminator in 2007 (month later De la Hoya loses WBC to Mayweather who drops belt and defends at welterweight) and interim belt making him #1 contender for WBC in late 2008 and still no title shot so by late 2009 he went to middleweight for bigger names other than Kermit Cintron, Vernon Forester and Corey Spinks. Until recently the jr middleweight division was not a huge money maker unless your the Mayweather-De la Hoya fight.

Lair!!! Martinez has stated he would weigh in at 150 to fight Floyd and of course Mayweather can have better % of profits, a taller chair during promotions and a taller stool in between rounds.

Discussing such a fight is useless now because Mayweather is with Showtime, and Martinez is with HBO. And both are contractually obligated to their respective network. So just from the legal standpoint, this fight is practically impossible to make.

Mayweather's come all the way from Featherweight to LMW and you bastards want him to go up MOAR? Martinez should be the one to come down since he was the one to go up to MW. But he would get demolished in any division other than MW.

                    Where were Ortiz and Guerrero

Ortiz is like 25 years old. Guerrero 29/30.

Big difference from a guy who's even older than Floyd, who is 36.
