I did at first but then I realized all the guys at 140 have fights coming up in a tourney, so no it's not.

Do you see the Broner Malignaggi fight as a cherry pick by Broner???

I don't like Broner outside the ring but in all fainess I don't see how moving up 13 lbs. from his current weight class to fight a world champion could be considered a cherry pick. Paulie may be the weakest of all the 147 pound belt holders but he is still a champion. My opinion is that Broner fighting Paulie is not a cherry pick and it's possible Broner could lose that fight.

Well he could've at least fought someone in 140, but i understand though. He's fighting the weakest titleholder @ 147 and if he wins without problems that will possibly set up a superfight between him and Marquez before he leaves boxing. Marquez is a bigger threat than anyone at 140. I think Broner eventually move back down anyway.

Yes it's a cherry pick, he turned down Robert Guerrero when they had their internet war, saying he was 2 weight classes above him. Pillow fist Paulie has no chance of KOing Broner, no way it goes to the scorecards, Paulie has had a good career, despite no power.

Or do you see this as an actual "STEP UP" fight for Broner??
wachugot?
So apportion blame to Golden Boy and Haymon if you think it's a cherry pick. Which it basically is.
