GBP CEO schaefer believes berto will bounce back from his one-sided 12 round unanimous decision loss and will be fighting for a world title again in 2013. it’ll either be WBA champion malignaggi or the winner of the IBF belt between alexander-brook.

at this point of his career, berto has no chance of beating any of the current belt holders within the ww division, i even think most of the jww champions can beat berto. he's better off moving to 154 or continue facing low profile boxers in 147 coz there is no way berto lasts without overhauling his style of fighting.

even in an era when titles mean virtually nothing, the idea that Berto can come off being inactive for more than a year and then get thouroughly beaten to a pulp, then comebck in a title fight with paulie, is nauseating.
