All you Manny-haters just have to understand, Manny was a career FW fighter just a year ago before fighting Cotto, 2 fights prior he fought Oscar at 142lbs. for a WW fight and fought Ricky at 138lbs. Manny is actually a small WW fighting a legit and bigger WW in Miguel, so the 1lbs minus from Miguel's last fight, i don't think it affected Cotto at all... And just to remind you, it was initially set to 144lbs. but it was Cotto who suggested a 145lbs limit...
It was Pacquiao that said it not Roach i've posted the article twice in this thread already. He talks about how draining affected his performaces and how it would affect Cotto. Pacquiao wanted the fight at 143, Cotto said that 145 was as far as he could go which turned out to be too far. Pacquiao was weighing well into the 140s when he was at 130 and weighed more than DLH and 3lbs less than Hatton on fight night. Pacquiao had 4/5 lb advantages over guys like Barrera and Morales at 130. Cut the crap Pacquiao and his team set that CW to fight a less than 100% Cotto............ There's no other reason to make a CW other than to gain an advantage.

Nope it's not BS, because they were trying to land a Floyd fight, and it will be unhealthy for Manny to go down then up in weight for Floyd.. Say what you say about Manny-Marquez-Bradley, but the three of them are about the same height going up in weight fighting out of their comfort zone at WW... Just to stress a point, all three of them have all considerably slowed down when they all went up to WW...

Meaning Manny didn't actually gained a lot of advantage when the two went up in weight, it will still be the same result as if they fought at 140lbs...

Pacquiao discredited the fight before it happened in an interview where he openly admits that the weight would affect Cotto...............

yes 1 lb meant a beating of a lifetime , your argument would've been more credible if the fight was even remotely close

If weight didn't mean anything Pacquiao would fight Cotto at 154 the fact he won't adds weight to my argument aswell as Pacquiao's own words.

Pacquiao fans trying to argue that Pacquiao and Cotto are wrong and they're right is hilarious. LOL

It was a Roach initiative before Manny adhere to the gospel of Roach, and it was all part of Roach's mind game... and it is ****** to think that he will out-weigh Oscar at fight night when Manny was actually 3lbs less the night before, and your argument of Manny out-weighing Barrera and Morales by 4/5 lb at FW is just the same analogy of Cotto out-weighing Manny by 10/12 lbs when they fought, So Manny was at an advantage when he fought Barrera with 5lbs more BUT Cotto was at a disadvantage when he fought Manny with 12lbs more... What a ****** analogy!!!

Blame it on Roach............. You guys are pathetic. ****** to think he outweighed Oscar????? He did outweigh him on fight night. I brought up his weights at 130 to show you he wasn't a tiny little FW that you Pac fans make him out to be.
