Maybe true but what if he agrees and doesn't make weight tomorrow?

His 0 won't go but it really should.

Honestly dude I have no idea about these other alleged "racist" statements made by Broner. What were they?

But if he was a humble guy and didn't self promote, no one would be watching him on HBO and, as such, there wouldn't be 200 posts in an hour about him because we wouldn't really care about this fight.

He definitely should have tried to lose the weight as a competitor. As a "star attraction" well, thats another discussion. Ultimately he is hurting his image with both boxing and casual fans.
I do agree that the talking gives him publicity, so I understand why he does it.

However, I think at this early stage of his career he should be letting his boxing do the promoting for him. The big guns in the sport over the last 10 or so years have all made themselves stars in the sport through their boxing first. Even his idol Floyd, he was the P4P fighter in the world before becoming a big talker.

                    We'll see what happens though.

Many African-Americans like chicken. But I would be making a racist remark, IMO, if I were to say "On to this chicken-eating dude, Adrien Broner." Yes, you are correct, it is a stereotype. But I think that one makes a racist remark when using stereotypes in an immoral manner.
