Did anybody else think that ref was ****?

No matter his reasons, whether you think he was intentionally helping Khan or not, Khan was given a lot of opportunities that refs do not usually give a fighter to prove he could continue. 9 times out of 10, a fight gets stopped after that first knockdown. The fight would have been stopped if it had been Garcia on the receiving end of that first knockdown.
Luckily, Garcia closed the show and we didn't end up in a situation where Bayless cost the man the fight by giving Khan time he shouldn't have gotten.

Bayless wasn't perfect (he said nothing after Khan clearly put Garcia in a head lock in the 2nd round) but to say he was ***** is going overboard.
He let the fighters decide it and that's what you want to see.

He did however warn Khan for pushing so props there.
But after that first knockdown, are you kidding me? He bought him at least an extra 5-8 seconds & gave him every chance going.
He did it with the second to after he touched down.
When Khan was holding he almost purposely allowed Khan to hit Garcia with an uppercut twice.
What a horribly bias ref!
On a side note, Khan pulled that ****** face again when hurt and he was mocking Judah for his chicken dance hahaha, admit it whatever the fcuk he did at the end of that round did make you smile/laugh. Anybody got a vid/GIF of that?
I expect a whole lot better from you Dan my man.

Bayless is the best in the business. The only thing that I would dock him for that fight is that he should have stopped that fight in the second KD, it was obvious Khan didn't recover from the first KD.

The first knockdown was a KO. He gave Khan about a 13-14 count.
But I don't think there was any deliberate conspiracy to side with Khan. Bayless is a top referee and doesn't play that sort of *****.

The most disturbing thing was actually Jim's **** talking again. He gave absolutely no credit to Garcia prior to the first KD and continued his semantics throughout the fight. Like the KO was accidental. It was not. We all knew Khan was the faster fighter but Garcia blocked the hard shots and countered Khan with his own powershots.
The kid showed guts and he deserves more credit.
Btw, another ****** comment from Jim Lampley's mouth about Garcia had me shaking my head. Why the 'ef should Garcia pay for his fathers comments? He was not the one talking smack.
