It's biased, not bias. Learn to speak English properly.

I think Khan would have survived the remainder of the round.

Bayless did an outstanding job as usual.

anyone who says kenny bayless says is a bad ref is high. Kenny Byaless is far better than joe Cortez and he knows exactly when to stop a fight.

            ^^^^^My thoughts too^^^^^

Also, with the first KD I think the time left on the clock is probably why Bayless gave Khan the benefit of the doubt and let him continue. I think if there would have been a lot of time left, he would've stopped it then. The next few KD's I think he just wanted to make sure he didn't wave it off too soon, but he knew it was just a matter of time. I thought Bayless did a pretty awesome job, catching and warning for fouls but not inserting himself in the equation like Cortez always does. Somehow someway Cortez would have found a way to save Khan last night. Bayless did everything right within his power and without the hindsight of replay.

i think he gave him so much time after the first knockdown because he was contemplating calling it off.

khan's body was not responding to commands. not only were his legs in a heap, his whole body slumped down. shades of prescott. scary stuff

bayless might not have had his best performance, but he's still one of the best refs we have got

refereeing and judging a boxing match between top flight professionals is not easy.

Did people not hear the instructions before the fight. Bayless said the trunks were good and to keep everything above it. He called everything Garcia threw that landed below it WITHOUT taking a point and he did something similar whenever Khan would push off to gain any sort of advantage.

To say he was on Khan's payroll and then look at the final stoppage is crazy, so that doesn't even need to be addressed.

If he was trying to give a champion every chance possible to keep fighting, I don't know why more people don't respect that. I knew that Khan was done after he wasn't able to recover from the first knockdown, which I thought, under Ariza, he definitely would have. If he had been able to recover even a little bit, we were in for a show for the next round or two.

kenny bayless is a great referee & did an excellent job last night. I dont want a overprotective referee who is always interfering with the flow of the fight like jay nady or laurence cole. Bayless has a old school style of refereeing like steve smoger which is great for boxing. He is a first class referee.

A referee has to be convinced (beyond reasonable doubt at least) that a fighter is fit to continue before he can resume the action.

This is nonsense. Had Khan recovered and came back to winnin would've been a terrible disservice to Garcia. The fight should have been stopped after the first knockdown. It's just a good thing that Garcia didn't allow Khan to recover even with the ref's help. Bayless may be a fine red but he wast last night. Fights should be officiated under the rules regardless if who will cry about it.
