Why would he call out Gamboa, Juanma and Donaire but duck two guys he would murk in the ring?

Calling out a fighter and stepping in the ring with them are 2 different things! Ask yourself this - why would he have a fight scheduled with Franco an ELIMINATOR and fight a soft touch with no upside?

Russell would not agree or he would have fought Franco instead of another setup. He turned down Dib for the title and an eliminator as well. Pretty damn obvious he doesn't feel ready.

don't tell fighters to "FIGHT SOMEBODY" then when he starts to call fighters out that he wants to fight then fans are saying "YOU HAVEN'T FOUGHT ANYBODY"...well why the *** do you think he is calling these fighters out...you can't have it both ways, make up your ***in mind do you want Russell Jr to fight better competition or not...well when he starts to call top fighters out...STOP B1TCHING!

126 is a Solid Division though, so Russell Jr. will have plenty opponents in the Division to make a name for himself against...Daniel Ponce De Leon would be a nice test for him as would Celestino Caballero

Agree 100%. Its like he can only call out who the poster wants, else the same poster creates a duck thread or some other BS. Russell is one of the best prosepcts in the world right now. He's 24. He hasnt' fought great fighters yet, but at least he is staying active.

Can't he build his career properly?
