I like both guys maybe Maidana a little more as I watched him more but I got Mathysse winning this one. Why? Khan dropped Maidana with a mean body shot which he never went back to after. But if Mathysse does the body work he did on Soto, Maidana is going down. Plus after Maidana's performance vs Alexander he put some doubts in my head.

I have Matthysse in this one...Better boxer and equally as tough as Maidana...It would be a good one imo,and I would not be surprised if Matthysse stopped Maidana...

At this point in both guys careers I'd have to say Matthysse by KO. Lucas is a brutal body puncher & Maidana has been hurt from those type of shots. Once those hands drop a little it's game over.

Big fan of maidana but matthysse is a monster...I can't pick a winner i'll just sit back and enjoy the fireworks. I hope this fight gets made, seems like schafer wants to make it and shotime is on board with it.

Mayweather for sure,Pac and Khan have a shot..Ortiz has a punchers chance and a real size advantage..That's about where it ends,Paulie M Berto Matthysse Maidana Garcia have no shot...I would also pick Bradley against all of the above outside of Mayweather...

But Khan Pac Ortiz have a real shot at beating him,not saying they will tho...

Matthysse is being overrated these days. Maidana beat him twice in the amateurs if I'm not mistaken.

How so? He should have beaten judah, that was a farse. You can make a STRONG case that he should have beaten Devon too, who completely tool Maidana. I'm not making a triangle theory out of this, i'm just using that fight to make a case of what caliber of fighter he is compared to Maidana. They are even if anything, with Matthysse being the more technical of the two and faster, with a better body attack..MUCH better body attack.

I like Matthysse in this fight.
