Matthysse vs. Maidana- who you got?

Maidana was dropped by Khan via a bodyshot.
He was almost stopped against Alexander & lost every single round in the process.
He was hurt badly vs Morales whose shot to ****, has no power at 140 & was wearing Winning gloves.
I won't even go into the others.

He is a plodder with terribly defense, no jab, in fact nothing but a right hand which he throws from several feet behind him.

Maidana did not beat him twice in the amateurs, they actually fought FOUR times where Lucas won twice, one was a draw & Maidana won the other.

They share several common opponents, all of which Matthysse has done a far better job with.


I am telling you Lucas knocks Maidana out within 8. - Mark those words for when Maidana goes back down to 140 after Thurman, can't wait to hear how he was drained etc when Lucas ends his career.
This guy frankly gets too much respect for nothing but making a renown quitter quit.
He went absolutely life & death with Chop Chop Corley & in many peoples eyes got a gift decision in his hometown.

Matthysse smashes the **** out of Maidana & it won't be FOTY or even competitive.

You forgot the part about Maidana nearly stopping Khan, a better fighter than anybody Matthyse fought save maybe Alexander.

Alexander did something against Maidana that he didn't do against Matthysse : he clinched like a motherfucka. That's what won him the fight, he neutralized Maidana as soon as he got close. Matthysse could very well lose wide to a clinching Alexander.

Morales would give Matthysse a run for his money as well.

Yeah skills aside we all know Khan has a weak chin. I mean you know he got stopped in 1 round right? Maidana is heavy handed fighter who had Khan on ***** street for 1 round. Wasn't that what most expected to happen. But who ended up winning the fight?

LOL Please. Morales is a legend but he is more than shot. He gave a face first brawler in Maidana a good fight and an inexperienced Pablo Cano a tough fight that was won by Morales on the simple fact that Cano got cut. I don't remember scoring it but I though Cano might have won most of those rounds before the stoppage. Danny Garcia won a clear decision. Even knocked the old man down. But honestly who has Danny Garcia regarded a future p4p fighter?

Not every amateur fight is won by technical fighters. Watch Gennady Golovkin vs. Lucian Bute or Frankie Gomez vs. Jose Benavidez. The aggressor got the better of the fight by being more offensively sound than technically sound.

The amateurs and pros are two different things. What one does in the ams does not mean they will be successful or be able to repeat the same thing in the pros. I thought you would know this seeing as you have posted some knowledgeable posts before. Yeah Matthysse didn't destroy Judah because Judah is a decent boxer and Matthysse gave some rounds away by being a bit inactive. Watch the fight my friend and you will see. LOL @ Traingle theories.

I know they fought genius, I said a CLINCHING Alexander. If Matthysse fights this version of Alexander he could very well lose fairly this time. Alexander had no defense on the inside but he fixed it with excessive clinching. I don't think you understand how much difference the systematic clinching makes.

I know they're different but I just wanted to put things in perspective and to remind everybody that Maidana knows Matthysse and beat him before. Just to calm the Matthysse cheerleaders down. I mean what the hell is going on? When did Matthysse become this beast you guys are talking about?

I have Lucas by ud out of respect to Maidana. Lucas is fully capable of throwing straight punches. Which *****s Maidana's wide punches with both precision & power.
