Maidana has absolutely nothing at all but an overhand right.

Alexander exposed him the way a true technician should.

Maidana has hooks.. And uppercuts.. With both hands. When matt ducks down to throw thos overhand shots.. He will catch a Maidana uppercut in the teeth. Then a crushing right hand when matt straightens up. People overate Matt for beating a tiny soto.

Devon and Khan frustrated him with speed and movement. He's still a damn beast if someone fights his fight. Matt isn't particularly fast or mobile. Maidana reminds Matt why he lost to him those years ago and redeems himself in glorious fashion.

I'm a fan of both fighters by the way. And the fight would be a highly entertaining dragout brawl.. FOTY candidate for sure.

Maidana wouldn't do such a thing. Maidana has less tools than your average guy with 3 months training.
Anything he can do, Matthysse does a hell of a lot better.

He is the very definition of an extremely limited fighter.

He is just a plodder with a powerful right hand.

Lucas would make easy work of him.

Its crazy i like Lucas and have done for awhile but people are just ruining it now with these threads like the Matthysse brutally KOs Bradley one that sprung up
